I've only just finished watching, what a great game, I must admit I thought we had won it but Rochdale deserved the draw and their day at Wembley, very much like Newport before them.

They used to say, back in the good old football days, that 'your name was written on the Cup' when a team had a few dodgy games and rode their luck. Maybe our name is on the Cup this year, feels a bit like it.

I will be buying a ticket for the replay -assuming it's a bit warmer than the Newport game.

Rochdale did to us what we do to prem teams. They bullied us and pushed us around. Fair fucks to them they were great.

The thing that bugs me is half the squad on today r meant to be pushing for '1st' team footie but dandered around that field.

Moura looks a player though. That was good to see!

One thing in that game other than the score that did annoy me was the treatment of llorente. He wasn't great, that's easy to say, but Sir poch has stuck with alli through thick and thin this season and In previous seasons stuck with a struggling to adapt Lamela, but yet for some reason instead of son coming off we drag llorente off. Bringing Kane in would straight away have opened up some room for llorente. Seems a shame and almost embarrassing for llorente whereas Son would have understood the rest.

I know what you mean but it seems to me that Llorente has no confidence to shoot and isn't sure what position to take up or what pass to play. In terms of his substitution I think it was just a case of the shape of the team, striker for striker.

Yeah, no you are probably right just seemed a brutal kick in the nuts for llorente. Son who was also quiet for portions of the game I feel would have been a better bet. Like I say small critisism but a harsh reality for llorente.

Nice to see Lucas start in our shirt.
We're aware of his great foot speed & skill but I was impressed with how many headers he won despite his smaller stature.

Congrats to Dale.

Fucking hell only got home half an hour ago and the game was about 15 miles away. Some ropey fuckers in north manchester on the tram back. About 15 kids having a scrap, two birds got on and some north manc station and threatened to shank some fans so we took the piss out of them, then some smackheads starting monging out in the seats behind me. Entertaining but slightly frustrating game. Positives being we're still in the cup, Moura looks great, and Foyth played some tidy stuff for kid. Gonna have a lot of games coming now though but its better than only having league games left.

Their pitch probably wasn't helping them. Like Newport, they seem to have fired up for cup games but done pants in the league. Newport lost 5-0 after playing us.

I don't know.....but their manager said they wanted to play football and press us, which they couldn't do on that other pitch. I doubt they would have relaid it to our advantage not theirs, otherwise they would have kept the old one surely. Anyway it made for a great Cup tie. We'll beat them at Wembley though, fucking hope so anyway!!.

My thoughts are that we didn't do enough... But that shouldn't detract from what a great game it was and Dales performance... They were well worth a draw. I echo what Someone else said about these players being on the fringe of the first team and simply not doing enough to push the first 11 on that or Newport's showing.

Foyth and Moura did well and the rest contrived to have the game dictated to them.

Great game of football giving the Poch lots of questions and not many answers.

I'd quite like to take my lad to the replay. Good game for his first.

He's 32 and looking for one last payday I think. For me he doesn't seem to be that bothered - in terms of his movement and his lack of opportunity and goals hasn't helped his confidence. Bear in mind he's been with us for 6+months now and Moura has been with us 3 weeks, the difference in work rate and confidence was night and day. Best thing for Llorente is to find a club like Southampton, WBA, Norwich, etc and get a bit more game time and 12 goals a season, then go to USA or China.

If the starting XI want to push to get into the first team then they are going to have to achieve more than they did as a collective on Sunday. Fair enough to say that several were coming back from injury - notably Toby, Harry W, Wanyama, Rose and that Moura was new, Son has nothing to prove. Individually as cover as a one off they're all good, but as a collective squad XI we were a bit laboured and lacked speed and incisiveness.

It will be 'interesting' to see who we lose this Summer. Personally I think Llorente, Rose and Sissoko will all head for pastures new. I'd rather we keep Rose, if Poch has him 100% back in the fold, but if he's still a bad apple he can fuck off and we'll have the money thanks.

any modicum of success was always going to lead to this in either domestic cup,christ we are still 2 rounds away and they have started.If we are in the semi for sure this debate will be aired again,or lets go back to the stoneage and play spurs/chelsea at old trafford.Wembley hoodoo it was ok,fortress wembley it isnt,sounds about right.

Absolutely mate, also despite his stature he also puts himself about and looks like he’s got a bit of physicality about him, a bit like Erik in that respect, they both look fragile but not afraid to get in amongst it and put a boot in if necessary.

Talking of Erik, I was one of those questioning his mental state - brother, dog, Rome, etc etc during his lengthy absence. what a dick, me not Erik, he's come back and playing really well. Poor old sonny, he has his best season and all of a sudden Lamela and Moura show up.....great problem for Mr Magic to solve.

Talking of Erik, I was one of those questioning his mental state - brother, dog, Rome, etc etc during his lengthy absence. what a dick, me not Erik, he's come back and playing really well. Poor old sonny, he has his best season and all of a sudden Lamela and Moura show up.....great problem for Mr Magic to solve.

I’ll admit to having been one of his fiercest critics, almost from the first few games he played but i’ve been well and truly converted, he won me over with his work rate and his all action approach in games and although I wish he had a bit more of a right foot, his left is a wand, so it’s all good.

Clearly no one at the club can replace Eriksen like for like and Alli offers something a little different to all of them (his diving technique is outstanding!!), especially when he’s on it, whereas the other role in the 3 will likely be a revolving door according to the opposition but bottom line is there’s 5 really quality players that can play behind Harry in that 3.

Next step is to find a long term replacement for the God that is Moussa Dembele, I suspect his injuries will lessen his game time quite a bit over the next few years, which makes me very sad.

Having done my own scouting mate via that well known scouting website YouTube! It does literally look like he can do everything, I wasn’t sure about his range of passing but he did drill a sumptuous cross field pass too I believe Sonny and I literally purred at it. I think, once he’s got his match sharpness at full charge then he’s a starter, whether it’s with Alli and Eriksen or whoever really, we have so many options for all situations, although I think Eriksen is probably 2nd on any team list behind Harry. It’s all very exciting.

With regards to scouting mate, I think given teams knew PSG needed to relax their wages, then Moura was always a name that was likely to be sacrificed, i’m so surprised we got him so easily and so cheap. £25 million in this day and age for a player of his quality is an absolute frigging steal. I remember watching and for that matter reading, about the various transfer deals on deadline day and it was all about those 2 muppets at the Scum and that ex Scum now Chav lump Giroud and Moura just flew under the radar, I was just so confused at how the media didn’t recognise that we’d just effectively stolen an absolute gem at Poundland prices.
