Season ticket prices announced monday,have the feeling a huge meltdown is about to occur.Wonder when members ticket prices will be announced?i dont expect to be pleasantly suprised by either pricing.

Levy has been clever with the Wembley pricing, There were 85,000 for Juventus and 68,000 for Huddersfield last Saturday!! I paid £30 (on top of my annual ST price, had a chance to off load my ST) and bought 2 more tickets for over 65's at £12.50 each. This type of policy has attracted a lot of new fans and families to supporting Spurs - the success on the pitch and players like Harry Kane, Son Eriksen and Dele Alli have also helped of course, and no-one seems to mind the 30-45minute queues for trains afterwards.

The net result of course is 'catch 'em while they're young and you've got them for life'. Now that's happened and with a reduced capacity of 62,000, he can put the prices up a bit. I hope he recognises the continued support and implements a fair pricing policy, that keeps the stadium full, we'll see. The £10 + £5 for kids FA cup replay pricing was a great example of this.

Thank you, great article. Time will tell. it's a difficult balancing job. I'd love to know how much there is in the war chest and whether it will get spent on the team or the stadium. The team would be my priority since if we get success there the Stadium will take care of itself. Attendances at Wembley have proved that.

Ironically we can learn quite a lot from West ham and Arsenal's experiences. Thanks chaps!

I get miffed by the thought that as the older fans die off, will they be replaced by younger fans? How will people on low incomes be able to go to a match, and young folks these days are having the bollocks squeezed off of them financially. Even those with decent jobs are being exploited by the new breed of landlords who probably bought a house when normal people could afford them and have seen an obscene rise in value, so they bought another one, and another one - and they get their mortgages paid by tenants who then become trapped because they are paying so much rent that they can't possibly save for a deposit on a house of their own - or buy tickets for football matches or food.

Football without the passion of the real supporters? That would be like apple crumble without custard.

Hopefully Spurs will do the right thing and make sure that the New Lane doesn't become a tourist attraction or a corporate jolly place. Maybe Levy should start recording the fans now so he can play the chants back on the new state of the art sound system, I know some he probably won't record.

I suspect the Arsenal, United, City, Chelsea and Liverpool games will be exhorbitant and Huddersfield, WBA, Stoke, Burnley, Swansea and Bournemouth will not. A stadium affordable for all, as Wembley has been in effect this year would be ideal.

agree,the prices will ride on the crest of the wave,and once charged I doubt they will be lowered.I suspect it will be around £80 for the west&east stands for Cat A matches.Cos levy will judge people or enough will pay it.

But it could go sour if net spend carries on and we miss transfer targets whilst pumping our own money in

Firstly I agree and secondly do you think Levy gives a flying fuck that I used to have a season ticket but can only afford to go to FA Cup "special deal' tickets games now?

They've got this wrong, it's taking the piss, greedy fuckers - same policy as Arsenal, but back then they didn't have the TV money that they do now. Stadium selling rights will knock £300-400m off the price, in 2-3 years time Levy/lewis will be able to sell the club for a billion. I'm not saying they haven't done wonders - they have, but we're gouing to end up paying their hyper profit on sale. They should have increased by no more than inflation at worse.

the new season tickets along will bring in an extra £21m plus all those that have bought Premium seats one way or another probably another £60m plus the extra matchday income that goes with a 62,000 seat ground.

Shame.

Premier League clubs get £5.1bn from the telly, at least £90m per club., even if they get relegated, top clubs like us get at least £140m. In Spain and Germany they get £3bn, so UK top clubs get 66% more than the places where the tickets are cheap.
