Not sure, Spurs provisions for dual usage of stadia is actually an exception to the rules, and won't be any of the now slightly ageing rule books I have. I assume that's just terms of the agreement though, and frankly it's fair enough

I'm flipping livid. We're defo in for Newcastle or Leicester imo. It won't be Watford, can't see us opening on a midweek. But it matters not, cos I can't make any of those matches anyway.

I'm getting to the stage where I don't want to fucking see this cunting stadium. Put me in such a bad mood I don't even really want to go Sunday any more.
If PL really wants a months lead time, then we would have to announce definitely that either game would be NWHL on the jan 7th update.Cant see that tbh.

what isnt clear is if we can use 2 venues during the knock out stage?could be we have to stick with the 1st venue for duration?,and we are at home the first game in the round of 16,that is already decided by coming 2nd in group.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...lub-use-Champions-League-knockout-stages.html

In normal circumstances, Tottenham would have to advise UEFA by Monday, the day of the draw, which stadium they would be using not only for the last-16 home tie, but also for the remainder of the competition should they progress.

However, Sportsmail understands that Spurs have already been told that the governing body is flexible about the situation and will work with the club to find a positive solution.

First-leg fixtures take place on February 12 and 13 and 19 and 20 of the same month. 'UEFA is in close contact with Tottenham Hotspur FC regarding this matter,' said a UEFA spokesman.

'A decision will be taken in due course and in any case before February 2019.'

UEFA's regulations for the Champions League states that 'in principle, a club must play all its matches in the competition at one and the same venue' but their definition of the 'venue' extends to the city.

I am getting ever more miffed with the management of the corporation who own what used to be a club, love the team, hate the owners.

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2018/dec/22/london-streets-too-dirty-claim-super-rich-spurs

Petty bollocks this. Dissing the neighbours is not only cuntish, although that fits in with the cuntishness towards neighbours that seems to be popular in the UK these days, it is very bad business. The next time a 'street party' kicks off when plod shoot an innocent armed gangsster, do they really want the shiney new stadium to have a fucking great bullseye painted on it? Levy you cunt, get out there with a broom and clean up you cunt.

The Guardian, of course, has absolutely no problem with the "Confidential Memo's" that it has quoted, ie stolen or leaked property. No problem with a left leaning council leaking memos to a left leaning paper

EVERY match has had that since sept until it is then confirmed for wembley and changed.Daily mirror thinks they have scooped an exclusive after seeing this on twatter, soon found out otherwise in the replies.
Yeah it's probably best to wait until the test events have at least been announced before we get too excited about first game at the new place. I wouldn't mind a mid week nightime game to get things going but not sure that would suit everyone with an ST.

I don't imagine Watford will be done for many reasons. Think it'll be a weekend televised game tbh.

Just out of interest, what do you lads reckon will be the level of ease in getting hold of tickets for the new stadium? More the games against the Huddersfield’s and Cardiff’s of this world, rather than the really big games, which i’m guessing will be nigh on impossible for someone with no membership to the club.

After the initial rush, even at the level of relative success, with a decent ticket exchange system by the club and general sale numbers, should be easy for members and the cat c non risk games not so bad for non members. If you ever want help many of us have STs,memberships or know people not going, just put the feelers out,we can make it happen.Maybe not the 1st game but most of the time its doable.

Well think all the home feb games are picked for TV already, unless FA cup springs up,my personal feeling with time marching on is after NLD.I would love it to be newcastle or leicester, but any announcement has to be pretty darn quick, sometime around 7th club said next update, personally I think before that they will announce watford at wembley,or I hope so,3 weeks venue announcements is not the way to treat fans, even if wembley is easier for watford fans, plenty of spurs fans travel from allover, you really need to book flights, trains by now to get a decent price. So if we announce test events 7th jan 2 weeks to hold those by say 21st,is Levy going to gamble on the safety cert before we hold them?and announce early feb??well fuck I dont know for sure, but he has had his fingers burnt once annuncing then back tracking,i imagine he will be cautious?

BTW anyone else see the LA raiders may ground share next season whilst they do their move story?8 games if so,pretty sure if its true Levy can look at that extra revenue and wait and be sure before our 1st game is scheduled truly.

Thanks mate, I think I went through a membership process a while back but never went through with it. So might try applying again.

Membership will definitely be the way to go on here, with this ticket share system. Will make it easy for any of us not going to transfer a ticket to other membership holders.

I still just hope Levy isn't dumb enough to be looking at the NLD. It would be a huge cash cow for Spurs, but by fuck if they beat us it would ruin the stadium forever. Imagine that stat.

I haven't really cared for a while now about getting in. St will have basically paid for itself anyway, but I think it would give the team a huge boost and we could use it, the way the teams above us are playing. Trouble now is though we can't use the stadium to our advantage for big games as we have played City, Liverpool n Chelsea at 'home' already.

Just saw this comment on CC's new video from the stadium.

Can't seem to find anything about it anywhere else. Somebody heard about it or should we assume that it's a hoax given that no test events have been held yet?

Based on all evidence so far we'll be the last to know. I'd be surprised if it were a midweek evening game, around that time Newcastle is more likely I would have thought.

Because chris superfan will know before professional snoopers like the sun or any tabloid. The club wont snidely leak the biggest thing to happen in 100 years,or just put it up on the e-ticketing platform by mistake.Man utd said 13th jan blah blah tottenham hotspur stadium until they announced,so did burnley, dortmund says TBC.However why they havent announced watford is weird, never say never but there would be leaks from the council,TFL workers or staff/stewards if something was imminent IMO.Not even test events dated yet, never forget chris said the club shop would open in july, that the stadium would open in sept, the thing about wanting to be ITK,breaking the news,is that really you dont know, you`re guessing, like me here&now,I can admit that, but when you are trying to be a media whore you just keep on with the BS.I am glad he did those videos for us,but he is just a woofy fan vlogger no different to AFTV just a tad gayer and happy clappy.

If for example I lived in ireland, had a ST,and suddenly 3 weeks before THFC announce 1st game NWHL watford I`d be royally peeved running around to find flights, hotel especially as its midweek.

Haven’t we been here before with Goats, Squirrels, JJetset, and a multitude of others? I’ll tell you what, I know when the first test event is, but can’t say yet, until it’s confirmed and then you’ll all know and I’ll say I told you so.....The Squirrel

We really need a pub with a hobbit door at WHL or it's just not going to be the same.

Anyone got any idea who the ground sponsor is going to be? Qatar don't have a British Club and then we'd have a 'special relationship' with Barcelona.....

Knowing Uncle Joe (which I don't) it will likely be an American?
