Congrats to the boy, no doubt he’ll have all the mental acumen from his father and hopefully can be as good a player as his father is a manager, that would be sweet!

He's an attacking player, not a defender like the old man, right?

Watching City vs Leicester....Harry Maguire looks like a great centre back. Worth a bid,.

Utd were kinda interested in him last Summer, think the figures being thrown around were in the region of £50 mill, so think it’s unlikely. If Toby stays, then personally, we have more important areas on the pitch to strengthen.

I would throw down bids for Maddison, Sessegnon, and Chilwell. Reckon all three could be had for under 100 mil, and we should have some significant sales that it should be possible. We'll probably end up with Snodgrass and a backup keeper that isn't even English.

Wouldn't say no to any of those lads, i'd pick Maddison out of all 3 of them, purely coz we need him more. Chilwell being a left back is an area where we're actually fairly well covered with Danny and Davies and similarly with Sessegnon, although he'll probably end up being a LW. We really need a RB (lost a bit of faith with Tripps and Serge is a liability at the best of times, comfortable with KWP being 2nd choice at worst) a DM (try and sell Dier and Vic) and a decent back up to Harry, maybe a Rondon or someone like that, alternatively you could add an extra AM who can play up front much like Sonny, that for me maybe better, as Erik seems to be injured a lot and i'd be tempted to cash in on him now.

Could his excellency the Poch sort out Martial? Apparently Ole has got the screaming 'ump with him. Nah, he has just signed a new 5 year contract so the price will not re right and £250k a week? Nah, that ain't flying up the flagpole. What the fuck am I talking about?

We always buy Ajax players so what about De Ligt? According to the media - pshhhh, farking media, he has turned down £250k a week with United so again that's another no. De Beek I reckon is the one we will be going for, I haven't got the ITK creds of the Squirrel, but if we sign him then maybe I will call myself the Hamster. Neres would be nice as well if we are shopping at Ajax.

Si! Soy el hámster, Segnor Hámster, en el saber. I surprised an expat builder bloke today by talking a bt of Spagbol, solo un poco, pero ... It's amazing that there are Brits here who have lived here for 20 years and don't speak a fucking word of Spanish, they don't eat Spanish food, they don't really like Spain but the beer's cheap. I asked one last week what one of the local restaurants was like and he told me it was pony because they sell olives and shit like that!

it really is a joke.........you get so much more back if you at least try and speak a little of the lingo. This has struck a cord because I've just finished this week's Spanish leccion, y ahora voy a ir a mi casa por la cena. Something like that anyway, it's all Greek to me.

Please be true, I know it probably isn’t, and there are other teams with a lot more money likely to be in for him but i’d be bouncing off the walls if we could get him.

I didn’t think Lyon liked us (Levy) very much?

Players in last 18 months of contract who I think we could offer CL football and improve us.
Rashford 80 mill
Nemanja Matic 35 mill
Ryan Fraser 20 mill

I dont think any of them are unrealistic.

I think Matic will rotate with the current midfielders well. Rashford gives Harry a rest and can work from a wide position sharing the burden of Son and Moura.

Fraser adds depth and solid workrate and a definite eye for a pass/assist.

I'd say we need fo keep Toby and The Dane at almost all costs. They are integral to our spine and winks/Sanchez aint ready yet.

If we do loose playsds need to replace like for like and that will be pricey.

Squad needs to be fattened up with quality.

I believe I read somewhere last year that he was interested in joining us but at the last minute Aulus almost doubled his asking price.

We may have come to an agreement with N'dombele the other day but so have 3 other clubs (supposedly).

This guy is a beast & yesterday's win may have enhanced our chances of getting him. Champions League Finalists..
May do wonders for our summer recruitment.

Leicester City's Harry Maguire will play his final game for the club this weekend as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United prepare to battle for the £60 million-rated defender, according to the Sun.
That would break the record for the most expensive British defender, currently held by Kyle Walker and John Stones, who joined Manchester City for £50m each.
While United have had a long-standing interest in Maguire, rumours that Toby Alderweireld will be leaving Tottenham have Mauricio Pochettino looking at alternatives.
It's looking as though Maguire's next destination will be one of the Premier League's top six sides.

Tottenham are among the clubs interested in 18-year-old midfielder Luca Connell, who will leave Bolton when the club goes into administration, according to the Sun.
Connell has also caught the eye of Wolves, Everton and Norwich, while Southampton and Brighton attempted to sign him in January but had two bids rejected.
But with Bolton now in debt amounting to as much as £41.6m, it's likely that they won't have much power in any transfer negotiations.

"Tottenham are studying a move for £35million-rated Benfica midfielder Gedson Fernandes. Manchester United and Spurs' Champions League Final opponents Liverpool have already been linked with the young star of Portuguese football.

"But the north Londoners are now making the bigger play to land the 20-year-old enforcer and have moved ahead of their top-six rivals in the queue. Representatives working for Fernandes were in England last week and met with potential suitors.

"The player, born on the African island of Sao Tome and Principe, joined Benfica aged 10 and rose through the ranks before breaking into the first team last summer. He has been capped all the way through Portugal’s age groups with his first two senior caps this season."
