First Swedish derby of the season for my Missus team Hammarby yesterday.Gotta love their fans.

She was happy at the end, first two goals for HIF very Kane-esque and a Defoe-esque 3rd to start the car!!

I dont care!!!
I will never have a 2nd team, but its only fair the amount of spurs my missus suffers, that I take one for the team!!Normally she goes back for the derby games, djurgarden are sharing her teams ground, its not well received I can tell you, geographically it makes no sense either, more like charlton sharing with us.I admire the crowds there and in Denmark for the atmosphere generated, albeit a tad false with people leading the singing with bullhorns orchestrating it.For me nice sing all 90mins,but there is nothing quite as inspirational in football as when we are a goal down or chasing a winning goal and COYS is used quite literally to lift&drive the team on.Its quite the experience to feel that connection fans/team together. If you are singing all game, just to be singing you dont quite get those uplifts for me.

I wonder if in a few years time singing will be replaced by tweeting? I do tweeting me, because I am modern. I tweeted at Donald Trump this morning, he hasn't replied yet, I expect he is busy.

I was just about to turn off my telly, it wasn't funny - then Milan scored, so maybe I'll watch it just a bit longer.

Now I might switch off - how the fuck can they give a penalty to the scum for that? Fucking unbelievable. Dirty cheating cunt Wellbeck. 3 officials within 10 yards and they give a fucking penalty, Wenger grinning like a cunt - he won't complain about this ref, who is a cunt by the way.

I suppose it doesn't make any difference, Milan still have to score 2 more.

Fucking blimey, blatant dive from Mciktarian, this ref is a fucking goon. Loads of fouls from the scum being ignored. Why am I watching this? I'm hanging onto the thread of hope that Milan will get the 2 goals they need, not much chance with this ref, who didn't give the penalty to Milan that they should have just got, books a Milan player for diving, which was much less Tom Daley that the cheating cunts Welbeck and Mick - plus they are total shite at scoring,.

Now a dive from Wheelchair - gets a free kick! How many chances have Milan put into the sky or 10 yards wide? Loads, that's how many. Their finishing is pony as fuck, any other team would have mullahed the bollocks off of the goons by now.

At least I'm not posting loads of separate piles of shit in this thread, which is the wrong one, I know. I'll just keep editing this one and ranting about the cunt ref and the cunt goons.

Now I'm switching it off, stupid wanker Milan keeper. End of rant.

That was disgraceful by Welbeck.

If he doesn't get piled on by the pundits for that pathetic attempt at a dive then that's an even greater injustice.

Hopefully UEFA's disciplinary committee properly deals with him.

Nevertheless, it's too late as that decision influenced the outcome of that tie. For me, this is a strong argument for VAR to be in effect. Reviewing it would most likely have resulted in an overturned decision, Welbeck would have been carded &, more importantly, Milan would still be ahead with momentum & a good chance to even things up.

And I still do not understand the relevance of that byline referee. Rarely do they get involved & when they do you get sh!t calls such as this.

Well guess by now you know I have (to) have a soft spot for Hammarby.Last home game of the season for them,could/should still finish 2nd or 3rd and play europa league for the 1st time in decades and
Kennedy Bakircioglu their #10,captain,legend equivalent to hoddle retiring and last home game for him, they put on quite a show.Reminds me of the Finale atmosphere, the tifo looked amazing you have to say,I saw a tweet from the company that provided everything and have contacted THST with their address,I will follow that up with an email, because this is exactly the panacea we need 1st game in NWHL,what do you think Don?you`ve been here before with banners.Imagine Bill Nic,south stand.....sorry I`ve just cum...

So my missus flew back for this, which is great cos means i can do the same with spurs (and I do),she loves this guy,22 years at the club except a few seasons in Ajax, having watched them a lot he is a proper baller,VDV,Hoddle territory, captain, talisman I have seen him bang in more 30 yarders than Bale.If you arent moved by this,or impressed by the tifo then really,go watch the european super league!!Like her best friend who she always goes with, but for this once in a lifetime event chose to go and watch city vs saints (plastic city fan syndrome!),cant believe that,I wouldnt have missed the finale for england playing in a world cup final !!

Love their intro song BTW,if you dont speak swedish for all the on the pitch stuff go to 24mins infront of their park lane,(the bit where he breaks down crying is cos the owner tells him they will retire the #10 shirt for 10 years in his honour nice touch!we should have done that with hoddle)

View from the other stand (what a waste for a sold out game 50 away fans occupying a 3rd of a stand)The corner by that is where my missus was.

And finally click this...

Oh yeah they won 1 nil

Some of you know how much I like a banner and I’d love this sort of carry on right across the South and East stands. The problem at Spurs is uk Health & Safety and club regulations. I’m sure where there’s a will there’s a way, it would be brilliant wouldn’t it!!!

That was a very special effort by Sokratis, right up there with some of Xhaka's brain explosions.

Wow.... why?
Cos they clearly realised they should have backed him before and he wouldn't have left. The squad is getting on and Ronaldo has left, he wanted to spend to revamp but they wouldn't dish out the dosh then, seems they will now though.

No public figure in Sweden has a greater ability to steer the domestic and international news agenda than Zlatan Ibrahimovic, so when the country's record goalscorer released an 11-second video clip on Tuesday in which his name was unveiled on the back of a Hammarby shirt, the shockwaves were instant.

In Sweden, journalists and fans alike scrambled to try and figure out the meaning: Was Ibrahimovic, the best paid player in Major League Soccer, really coming to humble Hammarby?

International onlookers had a more straightforward question: Who are Hammarby?

Less than a day later it was revealed that Ibrahimovic had not joined the Stockholm side as a player - he insists that he will never return to the Allsvenskan - but had instead purchased a quarter of their shares.

To an outsider it may not seem like an obvious choice. In reality, Ibrahimovic's move looks incredibly savvy and suggests he or whoever is advising him has been paying attention.

When the 38-year-old told Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet on Wednesday that Hammarby are the club with "the greatest potential to become the biggest in Scandinavia" he wasn't exaggerating.

Who are Hammarby?
While Gothenburg and Malmo have an international reputation with the silverware to back it up, Hammarby have only won one league title in their history, and a lack of European credentials mean they have received little exposure outside of Sweden.

Potential is exactly what Ibrahimovic is buying, and he has moved in at a perfect moment. Last season, Hammarby were only one point away from winning the Swedish title on the last day of the campaign, their consolation prize of a European place for the first time since 2007 still of huge significance.

Of equal importance is the way they pulled this upswing off, playing thrilling, relentlessly attacking football that saw them finish top scorers in Sweden by a 19-goal margin in 2019.

Key to that is an analytics department that is revolutionary by Allsvenskan standards, and a coaching staff with an international flavour that includes Valencia hero Joachim Bjorklund as assistant. Hammarby have a philosophy that is ahead of the curve in Sweden.

Then there is the fanbase, their greatest asset of all. There are many claims to the title "club of the people" but in Stockholm, Hammarby's claim is strongest.

Despite their sparse trophy cabinet, and despite enduring tough years down in the second division as recently as 2014, the green and whites have a diehard support that always turns up, through thick and thin.

In the second tier, selling out their 30,000 capacity stadium became a point of pride, and that loyalty has only gone from strength to strength since.

Hammarby regularly top Sweden's attendance table and 2019 was no different. Hearing the sold-out crowd sing their pre-match anthem Just idag ar jag stark (Today I'm strong) is a goosebumps-raising experience for anyone lucky enough to witness it.

As for what Hammarby gain from their new backer, direct financial input is likely to be limited but you only needed to look at the club's homepage to see the instant international exposure he brings, a rare English language post on Wednesday explaining the deal.

His profile and ability to open doors to potential new sponsors should create a chance for Hammarby to increase revenue, while his worldwide reputation could also help them to attract more talent who would otherwise have been unaware of the club.

Take an enviable connection between fans and club, plus a style of football that is easy on the eye and designed to be effective in Europe, then combine it with brand Zlatan's international reach, and something big could be about to happen in the Swedish capital.

Hammarby are on the crest of a wave and Ibrahimovic can help them ride it, so there is palpable excitement in Stockholm.

In southern Sweden on the other hand, there is a palpable sense of betrayal.

Malmo supporters had hoped that when Ibrahimovic returned to Sweden it would be with the club that raised him. Instead, Malmo are left looking at a giant statue of their former hero outside their ground, while he prepares for life off the pitch by investing in one of their rivals.
