Every team has a vote in which way the game goes,its nice that our standards are set so high that we should smash all before us,but other teams have decent players/managers too.

No team has played more matches than us since sept,every 7 days our lads have had to play 2,sometimes 3 even 4 games,international break??not for our lads they still played mostly.So we have the least time to recover,work on the training ground,repair the injured,that is an excuse for not running around like usain bolt for 4 months.Wonder why liverpool have so many injuries,why we did with poch,why leeds are running out of steam??

High press,high tempo matches are lovely to watch,but it comes at a cost,you dont start a marathon running 10.06 secs the first 100m,its no wonder we have slowed down since october,not just because we leaked stupid equalisers vs west ham,newcastle.We are top of the league,have a good chance of a semi final in the league cup,topped the europa group,we have lost 2 games in 4 months.

Much as I dislike mourinho and the style,going full aftv on his arse where we are and in context of a long season,steady on lads.As much as I like a pile on,I can wait until things start falling apart before I sharpen the cutlery.

For my 1st Mara I didn't know what was realistic... so I thought a couple of hours maybe 20 mins for a chat to family along the way so predicted myself finishing in about 2hrs 15mins... which put me in the elite club runners pen in the very first wave behind the elite athletes.

So I'm there 18 stone, dressed head to toe in bright pink, with a pink mohawk and a pink handlebar moustache while the people around me are 6 stone racing snakes all stretching and warming up, eating energy gels while I finish my Maccy D's banana milkshake...!

You know the high ariel shot where they release the masses and you see a huge column of people streaking down the road.... yeah I was in the lead for 20 seconds as I got carried away with the event and atmosphere.... it was fucking brilliant...!

The camera picked me up as I started to fade and move backwards through the runners... and that carried on for nearly 6 hours... people passing me for every second of that race... not at any point did I take over anyone who was still running... it was emotionally devastating...

So, yes some people do start a marathon with a 100m sprint.... but those people are absolute fucking morons and pay for it 10 fold very very soon after.

Have some of you guys not been watching us over the last 2 years?!

Yes, I agree we should’ve gone for the kill, we played some good stuff in the first half, and had the opportunity to kill them off, if we’d continued to play like that in the 2nd half but I really don’t see it as negatively as some of you see it. We’ll forget we’ve just played City, the best possession based team that the pl has almost ever produced, a Chavs side that have the best squad in the pl and a NL derby where we were 2 up and decided to not threaten that by shutting up shop and not letting the opposition in, a fairly decent argument to put up, given the points we dropped only a few weeks prior against Wet Spam when being 3 up.

Shall we also forget that we put 5 past 3rd placed Southampton, 6 past Utd and a scintillating first half against Wet Spam, leading to the most goals Spurs had scored in the league up till the 9th or 10th game of the season since the 60s.

I don’t know about you guys but I was in a dark place when Mourinho was appointed, the best manager I had seen at Spurs had just been sacked, but in all honesty and despite the smiles he put on all our faces, we were abysmal for the last 10 months under Poch, and romance and heart aside, it was the right move.

Mourinho comes in, and in less than a year, he has us top of the league, over a Liverpool side that destroyed everyone last season, who just dropped points against a Fulham side who are just above the drop zone.

I have a deep rooted hatred of Mourinho but I will continue to back him, if it even gives us a sniff of a title challenge, or we go deep in any domestic or European trophy.

I get the negativity, we’re Spurs fans, we fucking hate Mourinho, the man’s a cunt and we don’t agree with his football philosophy at all, but and no pun intended, i’m prepared to ‘park that’ philosophy, in the hope we can get some silverware, so we can actually brag about something of substance, rather we play great football and win fuck all, give that back to me after we’ve won something.

Mourinho’s a serial winner, I’ll back the guy until things go pear shaped but top of the league after 12 games, q/f’s against Stoke in the Carabao cup and seeded going into the last 32 of the Europa Cup, is not a time to throw my toys out the pram because we played defensively against the aforementioned teams and a 35 minute spell against a pretty decent Palace side, who will cause big teams a few problems and who also had some fans back in the stadium, which does give a team motivation.

I like the fact that we’ve signed some good players for little money like Hojbjerg and Reguilon. I like that Bale is back and that we’ve had some extraordinary results....but when you’re top of the league, you should be proud as punch, walk round taking the piss out of your mates because we’re so good and they’re so bad. But, with a couple of performances aside, United away and Southampton away most notably. We’ve been terrible to watch. It feels like we’ve just worn teams down and got a goal or two that we didn’t really deserve - WBA, Burnley, Brighton, LASK ffs... Mourinho is doing what Mourinho does, winning games ugly. I just don’t like winning like this. Sorry.

So basically we concede a fairly mental injury time penalty against Newcastle, concede a once in a blue moon 3 against West Ham late on and play poorly for 35 mins against Palace, where their goalie pulled off some worldies, yet everything’s shit!

I get it, this is all about Mourinho and nothing else.

If Poch was in charge still, and we had played the exact same way and got the exact same results as we have this season, then there wouldn’t be anywhere near the amount of negativity.

No it's not just about hating Mourinho, that's bollox and you know it. You quoted 3 disappointing games, how about adding in Burnley, Brighton and West Brom? They were awful and we won them by luck, feck all else. I make that at least 6 PL games from the 12 we have played were we have seen really, really pony football. 50% pony is pony whoever the manager is. I would even add in the scum game because if we had played like that against a decent side we would have been mullahed I would be slagging the Poch off for that or even Saint Bill.

I think a lot of it is down to a hatred of Mourinho, if a manager had come in, who was universally liked amongst the fan base, i’m fairly sure that person would get more of a free pass if we were top of the league and put in the same level of performance.

You’re right though, the football hasn’t been great but we’re heavily reliant on Son and Kane. Tanguy’s great at making things happen in the middle, a mini Dembele but we don’t have that dictator of play that allows us to absolutely dominate games for 90 minutes. I think against the lesser teams we should maybe think about playing Lo Celso instead of either Sissoko or Bergwijn.

I’ve said this before but the 2 most important players we had under Poch, which allowed us to dictate a large majority of games were Dembele and Eriksen, when those 2 were out, we weren’t the same team.

As i’ve said with others, I totally get where you’re coming from but there’s been just enough good stuff for me, to be able to balance the good and the shit.
