My first game at the Lane was 1964, but to be fair I don't get there much these days as it's 2,000 kms away from where I Iive, and I only went 6 or 7 times a year when I lived in Dorset (which on a bad day took longer than it would from here). But, I did used to go to the Lane a lot when I was a teenager, I think, the 70's are all a bit blurry in what is left of my brain. Anyway, it's not how long that's important is it?
