Apparently, the president of Metz says '"Nothing is signed, but I have a verbal agreement with the president of Tottenham" for the signing of Pape Matar Sarr. Ha ha ha ha ha. A verbal agreement with Levy is not worth the paper it is not printed on.

Who even is that....?

I'm lost.... I remember when Bale was a good young prospect...!!!

Rumblings that we’re closing in on a loan deal for Traore with an obligation to buy for £40m

As threatening as Adama can be on the ball, it just doesn't lead to anything. As others have said, no end product whether it's finishing or passing. It may come, eventually, but I'd rather spend that 40M on others.

Ronaldo is on his way! There are 'reports' so it must be true. I read a 'report' saying that he was left on the Juventus bench - so he must be coming to Tottenham, of course, it's the only explanation! Sell Kane for £160m and that would pay Ronny's wages for a week or two. FFS!

Yeah those Ronaldo stories are fucking ridiculous. It's like the journos have looked at Paratici, put 2+2 together and come up with 38. Sure, with Paratici on board, there might be a 0.000000000000000000000000001% chance we could pull it off but it's more likely that I'll be turning out up front for us before Ronaldo does ..

Agree. His power and pace is phenomenal BUT he couldn't hit a bulls arse with a banjo.
If all came to all, I wouldn't say no, but if we're in the market for a player like that I'd prefer to see someone like Saint Maximin from Newcastle. Makes things happen and scores goals.

Yeah, reminds me of the time about ten years ago when Sky (I think it was) claimed Kaka was on his way.

FFS man, if you'd just told the club you were available six weeks ago, we could have avoided all the searching for new players.

I remember that one and the pictures of the bloke selling DVDs out of his boot in the WHL carpark and then there were those daft rumours that Bale was coming back....

I think most people.would prefer Maximin, but he just isn't on the market, Traore possibly is. I'd like a 'Beast' in our lineup and I think a good manager (no reason to think Santa is not a good'un) could use his strength and pace, especially with players like Sonny and Lucas making fast attacking moves, at the very least he would draw off a couple of defenders.

I think that was also about the time we were definitely signing Rivaldo as well ..

Yeah, can't disagree with that. As I said, I wouldn't say no to him. The priority for me regardless of whether Kane goes or not is at least one centre forward signed up. Aside from Kane, we have nobody strong up front who can hold the ball up....get that sorted and then If we can bag Traore too....great.
The next few days should be interesting...

Another thing about Adama T we should probably be considering with our thinking brains is that Nuno Santa Claus knows exactly how good he is, how good he can be and where he could possibly fit in with his other little helpers at Spurs - so he would be put immediately on the nice list (after checking once and twice of course).

He did it once with him... no reason to think it wouldn't work again...

For thw £45m quoted.... what else would that buy you...? That's a lot less than Davidson Sanchez...

*Edit... just seen we agreed...!

According to reports.... Ronaldo has snubbed Spurs and wants to go to City! I really wonder why the sheeple still believe anything they read in the media. I used to believe that the majority of people were reasonably intelligent, that was me being as fucking stupid as them. Trump, Brexit, Johnson, antivaxxers, Covid deniers and people believing anything preceded by 'according to reports' proves my theory that evolution has gone into reverse.

What is the difference between a straight purchase and a loan with obligation to buy...?

We basically defer the payment for a year...?

Just pay the fucking money you tight fisted shit cunt.

I suppose it's the payment deferral and probably it's quicker to tie up a loan deal than a permanent one maybe ?

Reading that Jorge Mendes is on the case so if that's true, I'd put money on Traore signing before the month is out.

Nuno wants Traore, Levy wants to do his usual fucking around which has led to us losing many players wanted by whoever the manage was at the time. It is not an unreasonable request from Nuno, £39m these days is not a lot of money and he will not be demanding Bale or Ronny type wages. Two PL games in and already Levy is being a cunt, what fucking hope is there?

My advice to Levy:

N'Dombele wants to go and Mr Buyrite, you will not get the £65m he paid for him so that means we are stuck with a player who does not want to play for us, I believe Harry Kane saying he will do everything he can and we will get the usual effort and contribution from him, this does not apply to N'Dombele. Take £35m, it's fair.

CCV wants to leave, take whatever the fuck is offered.

Davinson Sanchez is wanted by Sevilla, again he is worth nowhere near the £38m you paid for him, £20m would be a very good offer - take it.

Steven Bergwijn? Somebody must want him for a bargain price of £10-15m, surely?

Moussa Sissoko, if someone offers you anywhere near £10m bite their hands off (after they've signed the contract of course).

Harry Winks is wanted by Newcastle and Aston Villa, if they offer £15m - do the deal.

Letting Tanganga go out on loan to Gallatasary? Fuck off! Don't you fucking dare. You fucked up massively with Juan Foyth you cunt, do not do the same with Japhet.

Word seems to be that Watford will be paying just £10m for Sissoko. Football Jesus clearly answered my prayers.

Surely a sign that Levy truly has stepped back from transfer dealings ?. If Paratici wasn't here, I'd put money on Levy wanting at least £20m for him.

He listened to what I said above? Nah, not happening. £10m would be a fair price for Moussa, but Levy is only happy when he is shafting someone for a few quid. It's a shame that we only saw what the big man could do a few times, when he was good he was good, but it just wasn't often enough. Maybe we were comparing him to the other Moussa, the one we still haven't replaced yet?

In fairness, the other Moussa is irreplaceable. Most unique player I've ever witnessed. Levy still a cunt though.

Sarr in! But we're loaning him back for the year, which sounds wise.

As importantly, Sissoko to Watford confirmed! At £3 mil! Fabio's tidying up a bit.
