From what I've heard Traore isn't and never has been a money issue. It is not about us haggling over a few million!

Every clubs Twitter feed is the same, with the same bullshit excuses on why they didnt sign the players media or ITK types have claimed.

One good thing about social media, clickbait articles are easier to spot. We never even asked for Dybala or Vlahovic let alone Bruno Fernandez and other…..

Luis Diaz negotiations are still ongoing.
I'd assume as long as talks are progressing any deadline will be forgotten. You don't walk away if you are getting close just because you've set a voluntary deadline.
Arabat looking likely.
Traore issues are and always have been Mendes and him not yet getting other things in line for Wolves. To say we aren't happy about it is an understatement. If the Barca stuff is Mendes I think we could well walk away.
Not the only players we are talking to. ;)

Subject: Mendes' involvement in the Diaz deal

This is the problem with him though and why you can't just tell him to fook off. He is an issue when it comes to Traore, but he's brokering the deal for Diaz which may well make things easier and cheaper, especially if he's the one who gets Porto a replacement(Wahaayy double pay day). I hate the guy and how much power he has, and I've said before all these favours don't happen without recompense.

People questioned how much he'd really be involved when I said in the Summer he'd be an issue in the long term. Well I told you he'd have his fingers in almost everything, and this far that is exactly how it is.

I thought I'd have a little look today to see people's reaction to the events last night where we increased our bid to a point of acceptance to see if people could see we are trying to back the manager, yet I see the opposite in now the majority of posts. Can't count the amount
of posts I've read this morning from posters saying "I'll wait until Tuesday before I start moaning" and yet have literally hammered the club/Levy/FP in that very same post. Sometimes paragraph after paragraph, with "I'll reserve judgement until the window shuts" at the end.

Quite honestly imo the transfer section has become a joke, it's basically 5-6 match threads where we are losing rolled into 1.

So forget what I said about Tuesday, I wont be posting any more information in this section until one way or another, this stops. I'll continue to pass on behind the scenes buy to be honest I don't even want anything I hear passed through the Goat right now either. What has started with a few very negative posters constantly posting the same thing in every thread(and never the appropriate thread),has turned into a complete landslide and the vast majority of it belongs elsewhere.

Late last night we had all the financials pretty much in place for Diaz, both clubs and player were happy, and only details needed to be done.

What exactly has happened since? Well I know as much as the rest of you on that. I haven't heard anything on it and the club has gone into full lockdown information wise. I spoke to my man this morning, who had spoken to someone who had just gotten off the phone with FP(bit Chinese whispery I know) and from what I've heard he's still positive about the rest of the window. What that means I don't know. What I do know though is they are trying to back the manager but we do have finite resources and we do have a lot of squad to build. Bare that in mind when you start shouting we should have just thrown everything at it in the first bid. What it hopefully shows you all though is that we do have money and we are prepared to spend it on the right players.

Hopefully we are back on track because whatever any of you think, or whether or not we get the players you want, we will be busy.
I'll just add, and don't read too much into this because it might just be the fact the club have decided to keep zipped on everything right now, but....as far as I'm aware none of us have been told that Diaz is actually off as yet. Like I say might be the radio silence, but odd just the same.

Things are very complex and even more sensitive. Hence my silence. Though I believe I have a wonderful deliberate confusing emoji’s with a weird comment. Sums up the last few days. Still expect deals to be done. But let’s be honest, loads of twists and turns. Mendez at his worst. Hence what we saw in last 24 hours.

We have our eyes on three of Juve’s players. The obvious one DK, and two others, who have all been mentioned. Just saying 👀

There could be a left of field#TinySlimHope🙈

Still 3 in. I know, I know sounds crazy right, but that's what I'm still being told.

Conte needs numbers in even if they aren't our first choice which is why I expect 2 of them to be loans, and we can look at the long term for the Summer. Last thing we need right now is to spend money out of the budget if they aren't the preferred choice and then they don't work out. Loan with options looks to be the key right now, and if I'm honest I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't the plan all along. 1 big signing and two loans with options. If they work then great, if not then no big loss and not much money lost. One things for sure though is that we need numbers in because once you take out the players AC doesn't trust our bench looks very weak.

It's all a bit jigsaw like at the moment because so many good players are out of contract in the Summer and a shit load more going into their final year that we are targeting.
The thing with Juve is they weren't exactly flush prior to Vlahovic so there's a chance we know they need to move players out. If anyone is going to know that it will be FP.

I'm not going to share specifics publicly as the club is keeping it locked down for good reason.

But..... (and it seems crazy to me)

The club still expect 3 players in this window. A few of us have said it all along and it seems we are still confident at getting 3 in, however optimistic that may seem to some.

Was given a couple of interesting names from Juve who I would be very happy with but we will have to see. Names shared privately incase something comes to light. If a solid link comes out, I will share publicly in here.

Sit tight, it's going to be a busy few days.

It's going to be a crazy 48 hours!

Just enjoy the ride!

Genuinely still think 3 in. I wouldn't even rule a 4th out if we manage to shift out Gil, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Dele & Rodon.

Lyon as already mentioned want Ndombele. Gil is 99% done on loan. Lo Celso has options as does Dele. Rodon may also leave with a few interested.

Some names we're talking to still not out there so expect more new names over the next 48 hours.

Juve double looking very likely but there are other options we are exploring for CM so don't rule out 2 x CMs coming in. Especially if we manage to clear a few mentioned above.

Let me say it again, Conte understands the situation. The Summer is huge for us with so many good players out of contract or entering the final year.

The next 48 hours will be busy, but the Summer is going to be madness.

New players will arrive over the next 48 hours so don't think it's a repeat of history and we end up with no one.

Of all the names I've heard, there are literally 2 I would be against joining us and as it stands, they're both down the list and we won't need to drop that low.
We are pushing hard for another CM after the arrival of Bentancur. If we can shift 2/3 of Gil (very likely),Ndombele, Lo Celso & Dele then I feel we will get another in. Some names out there, some not.

Don't rule out 4 like I said yesterday. We could easily bring in Kulusevski, Bentancur, CM??? (Amrabat would be done easily as all agreed if we want it but we are exploring others first) & Dembele.

Lyall's comments are so strange. Covers all basis saying unlikely but not ruling it out 🤣🤦🏼‍♂️.

We are still very busy! Players being offered to us. Late enquiries for some of ours also. I would now be more surprised if we didn't bring 3 in. Obviously things can change but I've said 3 all along and I'm sticking to that.
Raphinha too difficult this late in the window and I'm not even sure we enquired tbh. Looks likely Chelsea will come in for him this summer.

Based on what I heard on Friday, and without breaking my word to Guinevere, we've still got a number of irons in the fire that are independent of getting the Juve pair, ranging (based on my opinion of the players) from underwhelming, through solid, to spectacular. Hitchen working on a couple of youngsters but hope isn't high for getting those deals done in Jan. Some parameter-establishing work for the summer window also being done, including on the young HG front. FP still very (though not entirely) Mediterranean-centric in outlook, which is a concern to some at the club, but is fine with AC for now.

We’re at an all you can eat buffet, so far weve only decided on a couple of dishes and still considering what else to have from the mountain of food on offer👍👍

Also we need to think about not eating too much otherwise we’ll be full and could miss out on some delightful dishes being offered up in a few months time…

All that glitters is not gold….

UPDATE!
Certain ‘out’ players been told in no uncertain terms, best to find a loan or another club, as not part of plans, and not likely to feature in the squad.

Still couple possibilities for ‘ins’ dependent on the outs in loans/transfers.

Some outstanding opportunities have risen! Will definitely appease our recent disappointments. If we can pull one out of two off. If we can’t it definitely will be done in summer. We have money! Let’s see.

Names bern kept away from me. But will confirm if made public.

Not specifically Spurs related, but players are being offered all over today. Lots of clubs across Europe begining to panic they haven't sold yet. Interesting day tomorrow as some clubs may have to let better players go than they intended just to keep their heads above water, and no one is paying a premium to a club if they are desperate.

Those saying we are done after the Juve pair....

There is a reason we've made one of them a straight purchase and not a loan with option/obligation is because it leaves us with one spot free for a further loan. Much easier to do a loan quickly than it is to do a complicated purchase.

From everything being said right now, I still expect one more tomorrow and I wouldn't rule out 2.

Just to add once the loan is done the obligation/option can be added after the window shuts if need be.

Tomorrow is going to be fun, so just enjoy the ride.

As mentioned, so many good players being offered around so there is definitely potential there to bring more in after Kulusevski & Bentancur.

Personally feel we will bring one more in so the magic #3 overall. But there are some very interesting late opportunities which have presented themselves to us so let's see what Paratici (not Levy, because for the 5,000 time, he isn't in charge of transfers) can do.

A few bits and pieces possible today, and players still being offered. If I had to guess based on what I'm hearing I'd say more than likely we will end with the predicted 3 in. Lets see though because stuff is being offered that wasn't expected. We need to weigh everything up though, as regards what we think/expect we can do in the Summer. On top of that the gist is if something comes up that we can't really turn down, or a price is dropped for instance. Money is available!

Strap in peeps.
What we have to remember though is that it's finite and has to be spent well with the Summer also in mind. Over paying for something now will affect what we can and can't do in the Summer which will make things long term more difficult. It's definitely a juggling act.
