Looks like Skipp to Leicester is on the cards for a permanent deal.

As Ange suggested we have possibly more depth going into the new season....numbers wise. But PL seasoned players with experience have left and there may yet be more going.
Is it fair to say Solanke basically replaces Kane a year late ? Spence might replace Royal, Gray for Hojbjerg. Numbers don't mean experience or quality.
I don't think we are improving the quality enough or at all to the level we need to break into the top 4.
When pushed Ange would not respond as to whether he has any targets.....only to say basically to do the best we can. Target should be top 4...so an increment on last season and to compete in the cups sufficiently so as to have a chance of winning one of 3 possible.
If Ange had that target I suggest he knows he hasn't got the squad to do it.
The general impression is of penny pinching again.

I wouldn’t mind seeing us put in an offer for Raheem Sterling or Ben Chilwell on loan now that they’ve been frozen out at Chelsea.

Not keen on that diver Sterling but Chilwell might be a good shout but would Levy deal with the Chavs?

Would just be paying Chilwell to sit on the bench injured. Guys just one big injury.

Id see him as a backup. Both of them are likely on such high wages that it will be hard for anyone to take them permanently. But IMO a loan deal with them covering part of the wages would be interesting.

Yeah don't get me wrong he's a good full back no doubt but he has played 750, 1400, 540 minutes in the last 3 seasons all due to injury. When he is fit he's solid.

Should add that we won’t be in for either of those players. But I do think we need a bit more experience in the squad.

This seems like freeing up wages for maybe something big...?

GLC, Regi, Solomon all out the door must be close to £200+k a week off the books...?

At this point, I'm expecting nothing but a few more outgoings the rest of the window. That way I'll be pleasantly surprised if the old bald prick pulls something from his tight arse (which he's not above doing).

Don't know about a free, but isnt he in the last year of his contract? If so we won't get much for him. I think Betis are pretty ambitious though.
