I see the worst kept secret in football is finally out with Thomas Partey being charged with five counts of rape.
Contract expired on Monday, he's charged on Friday. If I was a suspicious man I'd say something was a little suspect about that...

You’d assume that our new “CEO” or whatever his job title is knew all about this and was likely instrumental in making sure it was kept quiet so Partey could keep playing.
Certainly knew an investigation was ongoing. Would have been part of the team of people that decided to let him keep playing. Needs to be moved on IMO.

Palace relegated to the Conference League for violating multi-club ownership rules. Maybe it will be overturned but what a disappointment for them after qualifying for the EL.

It should be overturned because there’s precedent for UEFA allowing at least two other clubs (City being one I believe) to compete in the same competition with the same owners.

It's a disgrace. Feel sorry for the Palace fans. Why let someone buy a second club and then penalise the club because the owner owns another club ? It's mental!
DONT ALLOW MULTICLUB OWNERSHIP THEN!

If that version of PSG turn up for the Super Cup then we’ll win it no problem.

They could sell "experience packages". I'd pay a fair bit to pull Cucurella's hair.
Go for the "Premium Experience Package". It allows you to continually pull it like a Yo-Yo.

It's weird how he was so highly rated at Brighton to the point of being in the conversation for the England job to now being sacked by Chelsea and West Ham.

Sure, he was probably on a hiding to nothing at Chelsea but West Ham wasn't that far above his level.

I never rated Potter tbh

...he did a good job at Brighton, no doubt. But De Zerbi improved them when he came in, he was a disaster at Chelsea and not much better at West Ham.
Back to the Championship to get the career going again I think.

United twatted again 🤣
People are saying Amorim is lucky to still be in a job. I think he’d be delighted to get sacked. Take the massive payout, move on. Maybe even get a job at a functioning club.

Nuno already announced at West Ham. Not sure I like that, he'll get them going again.

I’m honestly staggered he’s still in the job. His compensation payout must be astronomical.

If he does go I’d wager they’ll go for Poch and I imagine he’d accept as well. Maybe an interim until the end of the season and appoint Poch after the World Cup when he’s inevitably relieved of his duties.

What’s strange is that there seems to be a decent chunk of their fans who think he should stay.

It's mental. He's a very honest bloke, maybe thats why they're all rooting for him, but his record is diabolical. Either that or the United fans are so institutionalised that at this stage they think this is now the norm.
On another note, another slap in the face for Ange today.
It could be a very short stay..

If we didn't have Frank, I'd want Glasner as our coach.
Doing wonders at Palace & deservedly in 2nd place.
They looked so confident v 'Pool & if both sides took their best chances in the first half, it would easily have been 5 - 1 for Palace. Allison made some incredible reflex saves to keep it at 1 - nil.

Interestingly, he's said he won't sign a new contract. But 18 unbeaten is really unbelievable at that club, and they have to be the betting favorites to win in the Conference League.

Wow, looks like it will be a season when everyone can beat anyone, except for Arsenal who are far better than anyone else

Wolves sacked Pereira, and are apparently looking into bringing back Gary O'Neil. That would be very strange.
