Really dull. England very lucky not to give up a penalty IMO.
Are you referring to that thigh high tackle in the box where the defender never even got near the ball?

Actually I really didn’t see how bad the foul was on the broadcast. Having watched the reply that is fucking scandalous.

When you see calls like that & VAR does nothing, I don't know what a foul is anymore.

Not sure about the other WC Host Cities, but the enthusiasm in Vancouver has been a bit of a slow burn.
Prior to the first game, it was all luke warm. Like an indifferent feeling. It grew to a feverish pitch with the Qatar match. In anticipation of the Swiss match, this place is now on fire.

Flappy Pickford should have got a red card too IMO...

He fouled the attacker didn't win the ball...

The referees in this tournament have been absolute wank... Lots of them seem to think the game is about them... Like they're on show and have to perform... The players are the attraction, not these bellends.

I don't live near a host city, but Norway have their base nearby, and thousands turned out to watch open training. I know in other places (I was in Atlanta not long before the CPV-Spain game) it can seem like it's barely on the radar until an actual matchday itself.
