Well, thinking about it, he's lost his best players in Isak, Gordon and Tonali over the last year, and they'll probably ship out Guimares too. Plus if the rags are right, they wouldn't meet our demands for Bergvall, so not ambitious.
So maybe he's getting out while the gettin's good, as we say over here.

Vlhaovic s available on a FREE.u see FREE, and Osimhen and Gakpo would be £60/£65 million each. U save £85 million supposedly on Savinho, u get a proven world class striker in Vlhaovic, Spend £140 million on Gakpo and Osimhen, using cash from Romero and Spence sales, along with the supposed £85 million put aside for Savinho..Makes sound sense and you get 3 top quality attacking forwards,two of them recognised regular quality strikers. Thats why i am a Spurs fan, because i want us to use the money we have cleverly and get some top quality strikers and attacking players in. Makes sense to me instead of wasting £85 million on a Man City Bench warmer. But The Italian Messiah,as everyone is calling him, cant see furthervthan Savinho.
