He definitely brings a bit of energy and directness, which is very much lacking, and as Havocc says he'll be desperate to make an impact with the WC in the summer. He's a player I always admired when he was at other clubs, especially Palace. Is there a world-class midfielder in there? Probably not, but he'll definitely improve the squad.

Hes not a great passer, but he's way better than what we've got. Essentially, we traded Brennan Johnson for him, which I think is solid business. Our midfield can't be worse. Hopefully, his energy rubs off on everyone else.

An underwhelming first performance in our colours too.

Typical opportunistic signing. Got him under market value which is the only reason he’s here. Spurs never sign according to need, we only ever sign based on a P & L analysis.

Hence we are basically cannon fodder for any team worth a damn and a laughing stock in the football world.

Honestly don’t see what he offers that Bergvall doesn’t. I was talking about this with my boys not long ago: we seem to be in this place where we’ve bought a bunch of players that couldn’t crack on at clubs higher up the food chain. Not necessarily a bad thing, but Gallagher definitely seems to be one of those.
