Well he’s the only player we have across the front that can actually hold the ball up. But it’s what he does after that’s the problem. No end product.
yeah some of his first touches are bonkers.. then he'll beat 3 players but then try and take on 6 more

Worse game of football I have ever seen, both teams and the officials.

Sad to say, Deki is way off the pace at this point.
To be expected and he shouldn't be expected to drag our arse out the shit on his tune up matches... But when you don't have a single player who can actually fucking shoot, you're gonna struggle and rely on players like Deki to hit the ground running...

Like most of our games this season...we're ok up to their 18 yard line, after that nothin....
We don't carry a threat right down the central spine of the side. That's where most other clubs are strongest...

Our games will be like this all season. Without a finisher it will be a lot of work to get goals. Could have nicked a draw but otherwise we really didn't deserve much. And no idea how that wasn't a red. Doesn't appear to be any standards any more. Every decision is subjective, so just let them call it on the pitch. VAR is basically pointless. Would be happy to be done with it.

On the Tel tackle, it looked like a straight red. Tel was by Bogle but Bogle not only stamped on his Achilles, he also took out his other leg. How was that stamp any different than last week's or even Xavi's in the photo. Taking out both of his legs & nullifying a break should have been at least a yellow. Based on today's decision (even after they looked at it for so long), I don't know what a red card is now. Players probably don't either.

End result, we went down a player & they didn't.

As for the game, we had an off day which hasn't happened for a number of weeks. It is so evident that we need a striker. Solanke offers very, very little. It's still early for Marmoush, but he didn't offer much either from what I saw of him playing down the middle for Egypt in the WC.
