bollocks, we've got them this weekend, hopefully it won't make any difference with a new manager at the helm.Pulis gone, that's 5 Premiership managers sacked so far this season, one quarter of them.

Yes you're right, might be a blessing then, what the fuck do I know, ha ha.Who knows? We've often struggled with Pulisball teams, so it might not be any disadvantage at all, even though they seem to have given up under him in the last few months.
Any bets for Moyes to be out again by the end of the season?![]()
Bit sad so close to Christmas. I liked him and felt for him - terrible transfer business in the Summer by those above him.Swansea City have sacked manager Paul Clement with the club bottom of the Premier League, having won just three times this season.

"Lets remove our core and sell by far our best 2 players - our top 2 goalscorers and top assister; and replace them with a kid on loan from Bayern with no confidence and bang out of form, an unproven kid striker on loan and an old ex-striker who is also out of form. Lets also not buy any defenders despite conceding the most goals bar Hull last season." Genius.
Their squad is diabolical. They finished 15th last season WITH Gylfi and Llorente. Matching or improving on that this season would required a miracle imo.
would think so,i posted that when it was only 3-0.You would hope they would give him time,he`s changed the way they view the game and the football they play and they havent had a sniff of relegation, but boards have so little patience, even if they dont have a clue who they will appoint as successor!!.How donkey is that, youre so shit at your job in their view they`d rather have no one.Only in football eh!He's had it now hasn't he? Not Poch....... Hughes
must be the only career where you could be motivated to just fuck it up or let it go to shite and get a huge packet of dosh and another job immediatly after. What i never understand is just firing without a replacement or succession plan lined up.Not that that was a good excuse for how we ditched BMJ.Hughes must have something on the Stoke chairman if he's still employed tomorrow.
Poch like Redknapp (Bond, Jordan etc) has a management 'team' originating back from his Espanyol days. They work and understand each other implicitly. Jimenez for example has a brilliant relationship with Lloris. When the manager gets fired in this scenario theothers have to go, out of loyalty if nothing else. It's also likely that the new manager will have his own 'team' he wants to bring in.....must be the only career where you could be motivated to just fuck it up or let it go to shite and get a huge packet of dosh and another job immediatly after. What i never understand is just firing without a replacement or succession plan lined up.Not that that was a good excuse for how we ditched BMJ.
Think the delay is maybe them looking? Never get why a whole regime goes when a manager is sacked, how do you get continuity? Will be the same when poch goes, all the coaches will go same time, clubs seemingly powerless or clueless.
i know,i am suprised that clubs no longer can keep hold of their own infrastructure is my point.Just what other industry works this way?In football everything is now, today so little long term view anymorePoch like Redknapp (Bond, Jordan etc) has a management 'team' originating back from his Espanyol days. I agree but currently think, or rather hope, that we are going to buck the trend and keep Poch Fergie/Wenger style and create a bit of a dynasty complete with the new Stadium and a golden era for the club. Obviously I have my Spurs tinted specs on, because we need to win something in the next 2-3 years. If we don't I fear we will lose the existing jewels....that's not to say they can't be replaced, they can, but this lot deserve medals for the turnaround and entertainment provided.i know,i am suprised that clubs no longer can keep hold of their own infrastructure is my point.Just what other industry works this way?In football everything is now, today so little long term view anymore
I`m not really talking about poch as such, more the way its become. One example springs to mind, you mention Fergie, set up a dynasty and a club with the stature of man utd allowed moyes to dismantle it completely in a stroke.Phelan the equivalent of Perez with Poch, keen to stay outed and replaced by someone never dealt with the egos or demands of a top club with respect to everton. With hindsight man u should have kept some control over that, and doubly with hindsight if that had been unacceptable to moyes then well maybe things would have been better??I agree but currently think, or rather hope, that we are going to buck the trend and keep Poch Fergie/Wenger style and create a bit of a dynasty complete with the new Stadium and a golden era for the club. When wenger goes,it will probably be the same 20 years erased, the whole set up,relationship, staff.Just weird how clubs have lost the power except when it comes to firing them.
even financially its mental, they could have had a good chunk of compensation from everton and now no doubt will be paying a good chunk of money out.As knee jerk as it comes.Strange one by Watford, but then they're a strange club. Funny how quickly things can change for a manager.
That would be funny. I want him to take them down though!!!!!I fancy moyes...
That must be worth a few quid.
And he still has a year left on his man u contract !!!Moyes is hopefully gonna be the first manager to take DOWN two teams consecutively , after Sunderland last year
