Quick reminder see above..........first installment vs Chelsea, live on TV tonight.

My missus thinks I'm Spurs obsessed at the moment. I must have hidden it well for the last 25 years and she's clearly forgotten the 80's....

We're losing 2-0 to a much better team at present, Chelsea are bigger, stronger and quicker, their Sterling looks good.

I mean this is what other fans endure when we play them and do this to them.

Just got home after having remove my tools from a job as the owner of the shop I'm decorating is being prick. Anyway that's not the point, I just got home and switched the game on and thought bollocks.

Couple of touches from sterling I liked, the goal, the movement around the box just before he shot straight at the keeper and then getting to the back post and causing trouble from a free kick too. Didn't see much but that's the first I've seen of him, seems to occupy the right positions.

Spot on @skiathospurs this must be how other teams feel at WHL.....Well for 60 minutes it looked like men against boys....ha ha they must have been cheating. Then we got a few scraps of possession had a couple of really good chances and eventually got one back. Austin our keeper MOTM made some great saves. Good to get a glimpse of the potential future, but have to say helsea looked very good.

2nd leg this weekend apparently. Good luck lads.

I often wonder what the average age is in these type of games because 18 months difference in the average age could make a huge difference to an athlete. Imagine the difference between an 18 year old average age and a 20 year old average age...

ICYMI we got battered by Chelsea in the second leg of the FAYC and lost 7-1 at Stamford Bridge, 9-2 on aggregate, so we will need to make amends on 22nd April.

Luke Amos debuted for Southend last weekend in a win over Walsall, Shayon Harrison scored for Yeovil Town in a 3-3 draw. There's more if you're interested on the official site today.

Alfie Whiteman was in goal, in a 5-1 win. Some of our youngsters are first class, unfortunately Chelsea have many more.....shame that they have little chance of making it with their club and will become a revenue stream...

Get well soon Ugo........under the circumstances I'll avoid any unnecessary bad taste jokes about what might have caused the attack. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Spurs make first signing of the summer as high-scoring academy star pens his first pro deal
One young midfielder has inked a landmark deal at Spurs
High-scoring midfielder Jack Roles has penned his first professional contract with Tottenham Hotspur.

The 18-year-old midfielder announced the news on his Instagram feed on Monday and his contract, believed to be a three-year one, is just reward for a fine season for the club's U18s.

Roles has developed a reputation for arriving in the box late during matches for Spurs to score goals and it's certainly worked out for him this season.During this campaign, the Enfield-born teenager has netted 19 goals from 24 appearances, five of those as a substitute, for the U18s. He also netted one goal in his four U19 performances in the UEFA Youth League, which mirrors the Champions League fixtures for clubs.
That made it 20 goals for the season for the youngster and left him as the top scoring player during the campaign in the higher age groups of the club's academy, despite his midfield role. The right-footer made his debut for Spurs' U18s as a substitute against Chelsea in February, 2015.
