I played on for 25 minutes after a challenge, walked off at half time and was out with ligament tears on both sides of my ankle for over two months.
Ditto. There's really no telling with ankle injuries, and from what little I know (not that anyone was holding their breath over my scan) its very difficult to tell until swelling has subsided.

That's exactly what I was alluding to.
Surprisingly, complete tears initially provide less pain than partial tears.

I was stepped / stamped on & my ankle was stretched inwards (opposite of Kane's). The ligament didn't tear but it pulled off the portion of bone where it was attached.

To give you the basic rundown, in 2011 Alonso was driving a car doing 70mph in a 30mph traffic zone. In wet conditions, he collided with a wall and the impact killed a 19 year old passenger. Oh yeah, he also blew 0.093 into a breathaliser.

The Spanish "legal system" fined him 61,000 Euros and suspended his license for 40 months. The Spanish legal system seems to go very easy on professional footballers. The whole episode disgusts me. In my country he would have been locked away for years.

That I didn't know about him. Disturbing to say the least.

Missed the game, mothers day and all that. Happy with the 3pts.
Ooooohhhh Harry's ankle? We'll not know I suppose for a few days but tbh not too worried. Sonny boy stepping up.

Yeah to all those who say it’s HarryKane F.C , when Harry went off we were losing 1-0 , and went onto win 1-4 .
Last season when we played Millwall it was 0-0 , Andy we finished off winning 6-0 , and then went on an unbeaten run scoring something like 27 goals in the next 8 games........oh how we missed HK , and when he did come back, he returned and scored 7 goals in the final two games , to reclaim the Golden Boot , I see that happening again

Wow, will freely admit I had no idea about the Alonso stuff. Hope Dier breaks him in half the cunt.

From the article that @skiathospurs posted in the Dele Alli thread.

'Bournemouth started that game extremely well, bustling with life and pace. By contrast, Spurs began in a post-Juventus daze. When Junior Stanislas opened the scoring it was little surprise and, half-an-hour later, when Harry Kane limped from the field, anybody with memory of the club’s past knew what kind of afternoon this was going to be'

That is the old Spurs voice I sometimes struggle to get rid of........of course the New Spurs were very evident again on the day, coming back to win 4-1. Long may it continue.
