As for Mou, for very legitimate reasons, he's going to take a long time to win people (probably including me) over, and as you suggest, the way to do it will be with results and entertaining football, as well as not being a miserable prick. He doesn't seem to have acted the prick yet. We'll see.
"The fans love the club. I'm not saying they love me but they accept me as a top professional who wants to give everything for the club.

"People have more reasons to love me if they like my work, but the fans are behind the team and they see us working hard to get to a position in the table that is more suitable to the talent of this squad."

Sanchez has been good, aurier so much better, have we missed eriksen?have we fuck,I think really Jose has just simplified some of the basics.Stop fucking around at the back, get it forward quicker where we position numbers now and dont play people who look like they dont care, until they do.

I reckon, whilst I love Dier’s commitment to the club and the fire inside, Sissoko, Winks and N’Dombele are probably all better in front of the back 4. I’m not sure Jan V at left back is our best option, All Bournemouth’s attacks came down that side. The front 4 all gelled really well. We’re playing more of a long ball style game, with occasional side to side and back to start again, but overall the players seem livelier, and have more desire? The will is certainly more apparent and we’re scoring some nice goals. Not a Mourinho fan of the person, but the football is noticeably changed and the results after a small sample size are better, which everyone needed. Great atmosphere today.

Yup and play players in their best positions. Jan’s was slightly forced I guess.

You're right, a better side would have torn us to shreds, but that's what Mourinho has to work with. Our back 4 is weak, that's why Dier is his first name on the team sheet imo..In terms of giving him credit prematurely..I think he deserves some credit. He's got the players onside from the get go.. Eg: Look at the difference in Dele ? I take your point, but I do think he deserves a little pat on the back....
No way is he getting credit.... the cunt.

I really enjoyed it! Wobbly start but then found our feet and some of the nearly football was us at our peak, maybe just trying it a bit too soon considering the form we've been in. Most teams struggle to score, all we need to do is tighten up at the back which is normally the easy bit!
This is kinda my take on it too.

We've shown going forwards we have absolutely got what it takes to score. The fact that weve notched a lot of goals and not all from H is very good. It means we have goals in us from all round the pitch and are getting the ball forwards more often and more effectively.

It still isnt where it should be though.....

The defence..... is utter jank and needs freshening up. As others have said a decent side will hump the shit out of us.

Playing to our strengths and around our weaknesses....

Long ball to the forwards cuts out our woeful midfield creativity and gets it to where we can do some real damage and as far away from our shite defence as possible.

I still think were on for some big changes in the transfer window becuse it's becoming glaringly obvious that we have some big deficiencies.

Absolutely no offence or dig at anybody here but any human who genuinely thinks that Eric Dier is even half the player Moussa Sissoko is has rocks in their head.

Sissoko is the best two way runner in this or any other league. The shift that he puts in at high intensity every week is just something to behold. Yes, he has his faults but my god is he a beast of a player when he is using his own unique set of attributes.

Moussa Sissoko, I applaud you sir.

Fuck me dead. Yeah, it's funny but it's also just a wee bit insulting.

Their second goal was pretty flukey - the guy completely fucked the shot but his teammate screened Gazzaniga from saving it.

I thought so at the time, but their freekick wasnt so special,Dier and Sanchez both not taking one in the face, even a jump of 4 inches would have prevented it.Also Jans Tackle and Serge`s intervention at the end, excellent camera work to see,as with the free kick.
Special mention for Sissoko looking very unimpressed with Dele`s "what a lucky finish" as he heads for an interview.😅
