This is some team, against the odds two more injuries and we pull out a 2-0 away win. As far as I'm concerned we can sail under the radar as long as the media likes....Poch and the players deserve enormous credit for the character and attitude, someone always shows up - today Dier, fucking brilliant, made my day, again.

Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed midfielder Harry Winks has been taken to hospital after his serious-looking injury in the first half at Turf Moor.

Winks appeared to catch his ankle while chasing Stephen Ward and he then stumbled into paraphernalia which was placed by the Spurs dugout.

After a long treatment, he was taken away on a stretcher.

Vinny softened them up for sonny today imo. Masterstroke by Pochettino. And how good was Dier and Dembele today. Eric has just got on with it all season long with just about every first teamer taking plaudits at some stage. He has been the model of consistency and confidence imo. Jose can do one if he thinks for one minute that this lad will leave to go there.

How bad is Sissoko? Did he have a successful tackle or pass or anything? I hate knocking players but FFS can he actually play football.

I'm soooo fucking delighted, don't know why I feel like a kid.....this was a big statement result. No Kane, no Rose, no Walker, and lost Wanyama and Winks by half time. Burnley have won 29 of their 32 points at home, Chelsea recently drew 1-1 with a full strength team and we go and win 2-0

We have to be the best team in the league in 2017.

I fully and in an adult way see that, although they have a 2 game advantage over us, the 12 point separation to another team is most gratifying to see.

Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to BBC Sport: "I'm very proud because it was a really tough game for us.

"We showed great character and I'm very proud and pleased because the performance in the second half was very good.

"This win is massive for us - we have to be there if Chelsea fail and we are there. We are fighting for the Premier League.

"When you reduce the gap to seven points it's completely different to 10 points - we just have to be there if Chelsea fail and want to be there until the end of the season.

"We're still waiting on Harry Winks but Victor Wanyama got a big knock on his back and hopefully it's not a big issue for him.

"Harry Kane is good, he's doing things on the pitch and may be back in a few weeks."

Mauricio: "It's a massive three points. We were very professional, ready to fight and that was key." #COYS

Anything is possible

If it drops to four points, that's when I'll start to get excited. At the moment, we're still catchable by plenty of teams... keep our performances, and hope the Chavs slip up in the coming game or two.

That's when nerves start to take over, and actually where we never got to with Leicester last year.

We've said it all season but there is a steeliness about this group. Earlier in the season we played a lot of games after our rivals and had to win just to stay in touch. That was pressure and they came thru. Now the pressure is on to win every game to stay in touch with the chavs. we are doing that also and creating a bit of a gap with the rest. Today was a classic example of grinding out a win when things were going against us and by god did the lads deliver. Special group imo that just needs a bit of silverware. This is doable, no doubt about that and its not beyond the realms of belief to think that by Easter the gap between us and the lead could be smaller again. I only wish we could play the chavs one more time in the league.

So early in the season, we stopped City on a winning streak, then we stopped Chelskis streak and record breaking chance, then we took Millwalls 17 game unbeaten, and today became the first team to win at Turf moor this season......

And also I ve worked out the LOWEST we can now finish is 11
Back in the day, that would have been a great position to finish the table in, but the last 7 seasons have been unpresentated in my Spurs 40 years of going to Spurs.

Let hope City draw tomorrow and win on Wednesday....COYFS

Fingers crossed that Winks and Wanyama will be fine and make a speedy recovery. Both players have added a new string to the bow of Poch's Spurs this season and their contribution has been invaluable.

Such an impressive win at a very tricky ground under difficult circumstances, we really showed our resilience in dealing with the double injury blow.

Chelsea and Manure dropping points at their home ground, more points guaranteed to be dropped tomorrow by either Citeh or the squatters from Woolwich or both!

Swansea next, which is going to be tricky but I think we can get a win.

Only a complete rimjobbing cock monger could fail to be impressed on how brilliant we have been this season.

I would like to apologise for my negativity towards this game. I was foolish and stupid and should of expected no less than three points. If this is to happen again please feel free to abuse me but not after Ire has finished. Yes you will get sloppy seconds.
