Can I do a couple of quick shout outs....first to Pochettino who changed the game at half time moving Dier etc and essentially won the game there and then, he's magic you know. Secondly to Eriksen, I've only seen the Burnley highlights but I've seen plenty of other games this season live and on TV, he makes everything tick in the final third. Brilliant player in combo with Dele and Harry when they're on song.

@Dorset I realise you are away and may not even have access to this site however if you check in....can you subscribe to my superstitious nature and continue starting the Premier League matchday threads....thanks in advance.

Ps we have Swansea away on Wednesday night ta
Yes mate, even when I'm away, I'm not. I'm updating yesterday's matches now, I'll be doing all the previews tomorrow.

My clients, the few I have left think I have this big office full of people, 24/7 365 service is provided. They would be surprised to know that my company is just little old me and I am sitting in the bar in a really nice hotel in Majorca at the moment! The weather is brilliant, the hotel is lovely, it was £520 each for 2 weeks - fucking pucker (NOT pukka, I prefer Ingerlish spelling innit!).

You my long lost brother then??#oldmanbackinthegoodbookslol
No he's fucking not, I am. Anyone looking at us two standing together would know that we were related, the same hairstyle and rugged good looks, the same gentle temperament, we could be fucking twins if there wasn't a couple of years age gap, maybe we ARE twins but you took about 30 years longer to pop out because you are so laid back and easy going?

First part spot as was second part, i was watching live thinking how good has eriksen been, made tackles, excellent pass for 2nd goal! Just wis his corners were a little better but he is truly a brilliant player

That's a bit personal isn't it? I thought we didn't have any 'isms' in this new place, except for cuntism of course, fucking gingerphobes are cunts, haven't you heard that ginger is the new orange! Anyway, it don't nesser-celery follow that brothers have the same hair colour, some blokes are unlucky and get the mutant gene that turns them into gingers. I could be black, an albino, then you wouldn't be so gingerist would you? Anyway. my hair was fucking lovely, almost Ginola like it was long and wavy, then I decided to let it go, my massively high testosterone levels were needed to maintain the huge demands of my ginormous downstairs department. Of course blokes who keep their head hair don't have these problems as tiny dodgers don't need all that hormone power do they?

How bad is Sissoko? Did he have a successful tackle or pass or anything? I hate knocking players but FFS can he actually play football.

I think we need to be careful and not be too knee-jerk in our criticism. He didn't have a great game at all yesterday, but he HAS played well for us in fits and bursts this season.

I think he's finding it tough at the moment because he's feeling the pressure of criticism - even being dropped from his national team - but he's also not getting any run of games and he's usually played out of position, which is the worst situation as when you do play you are desperate to do well but have zero confidence.

You have to remember that he had no real pre-season to speak of, which isn't an excuse for poor performances, especially at this stage, but it should afford him a little bit of patience.

People forget very quickly when he plays well. Over the Xmas period Sissoko was becoming a real threat for us, with several vital assists and often creating chances.

The reason I am very hesitant to criticise is his attitude. Earlier in the season when he was struggling he was starting to whinge a little and Poch brought him back into line very quickly. Since then however his attitude has been faultless. Despite all the negativity and rumours, Sissoko has repeatedly said he's happy and committed at Spurs, and that says a lot.

He has to do better. We HAVE seen him do better. Maybe, with injuries stacking up in our midfield, we'll start to see him get a few more games in his favoured position and, if we all stick by him and give him a chance to build some confidence, we could begin to see the best of him again.

Any peeps from the numpty Dier haters? I read some shit from a so-called Spurs fan last week that he was 'stealing a living' from us. I bet he feels like a real silly-billy now eh?

Probably not mate, dont you realise by keeping it real they are doing the club a favour and motivating the manager/players to do better, also handy hints on the line up and formation to be played as well as indepth analysis on what poche and the players shortcomings are so that they now know and can correct said faults.Indeed yesterdays lineup was hailed as aprilfools by some of our more genius fanbase, thank the gods victor, harry and vincent knew this and fell on their swords so that correct replacements and tactics could be forced upon our woeful manager and team.

You Sir are the problem for trying to lift and support the team,it clearly does them no good.

Hope you are right @Basskadet Yesterday was a shocker and for me his body language gives me no optimism. He needed to hit the target with that Sunday league miss yesterday. I must be more patient.

@Basskadet I just don't think Sissoko is consistent enough. This isn't a knee jerk opinion it's based on the fact we bought him in August and are now in April and I can't think of a moment were he's been genuinely good for 3-4 games on the bounce. Had a good cameo against manure away in November and looked like he might be getting the hang of this football malarkey but hasn't been good enough since. Fair enough he hasn't had loads of game time but he would get that if he was impressing poch in training. Newcastle fans said he's good one week then shit for a month and I'm inclined to agree at the moment. Hopefully he makes me eat my words...

I suspect this is tongue in cheek but bear in mind that we wouldn't have a clue who to buy in the summer if the geniuses didn't let Poch know. I feel uncomfortable relying on an army of scouts without the information provided by the anals.

Then who to sell? I clearly remember the anals saying we should get rid of Rose 2 or 3 years ago, but the club did not listen.

Then, when we do sell the players that the dirty ragbags want gone, they go all mental as fuck when those players do well at other clubs - Gilflie and Nacker come to mind for recent players we have let go, the slimeballs said they were shite, then they said we should have kept them.

Actually for all the fun it is at woolwich ATM,what a bunch of fickle cunts, what will they achieve protesting during the season when they have a cup final to chase, top 4.Fine have a view, but wait til the fucking end to do your best to disrupt the club you claim to be supporting. No point in all these planes, banners whilst there are a dozen games to go,no way they will sack him and its not over yet,no matter how funny we think it is.All they are doing is our job for us,and I find that the same of some of our fans its like they want to disrupt whats going on before these bad things have even happened. Some fans need to get a grip, look at orient to appreciate what your club is,a lot of teams are too self entitled.

The only cautionary tale with Sissoko is that neither Son or Lamela had great first seasons and several others have taken a while 'maturing' Rose for example....so all is not lost after two thirds of his first season when ha hasn't had that many minutes. Probl m is Wanyama has been brilliant, which makes Sissoko look even worse, I'd give him until next January at least.

Very professional performance. Liked the fact that even though things were not going our way, with horrible looking injuries and what not, we plugged away and got what we deserved from the game. Burnley are tough to beat and I'm sure they'llbe fine this season.... Sunderland however....

Christian was easily MOTM for me, the guy is just our puppet master and doesn't get the credit he richly deserved most of the time. As for my lovely little Eric, dorest is right, where have all the haters gone? Good on you Eric, continue to shine and shut the morons up..... Oh, and Maureen can fcuk right off if he thinks we'll sell him to them? Why would he go to a team that will finish lower than us.

Added bonus that the oil barrons dropped points.

Onto Swansea now...

He played118 games for Newcastle over 4 years so this footie game isn't new to him. Plus only 11 goals in that time.

I wonder what it is that we are trying to buy? Poch must feel he needs an attacking left sided player for balance or something?? we've so far experimented with Chadli, N'Jie, GKN and Sissoko........I don't get it. Anyonecare to enlighten me, because at present it all looks like a big waste of money, time and effort. Seems that Danny Rose and to a certain extent Davies fills that position fine. unless he wants cover for a 4-2-3-1 system and not to have Eriksen out there.
