First half reminded me of how we played last year. Dembele and Wanyama have been immense. Keep er lits boys

2 fortunate moments have won that for Chelsea. Thought we were the better team, worth a draw at least.

Just didn't sniff out a decent chance in the second half, and didn't make our first half dominance count

Unbeaten run had to come to an end somewhere.

Will do them back at the lane

Its no consolation to me at the moment that we have been, are and will always be a better club than them. We needed the 2nd while we were on top and tbh we were beaten by a side who I honestly don't rate very highly. They won't win the league.
My level of hate for them is immeasurable, its absolutely on a different level to that of the scum.
I'll have to stop now cos this will just descend into a rant. So disappointed

Mate I am with you. I feel physically sick. I went totally fucking mental when they scored, I hate them as much as I hate all those nazi fuckers the cunts are voting for these days, I want really bad thigs to happen to all of them.

I thought we were going to finally shut those chav cunts up for 42 minutes of the first half, we were totally bossing the game, but we couldn't keep it up, maybe they were knackered from the Monaco game, maybe they got pissed off with all the free kicks given when the cheating chav cunts fell over.

Cunts, total cunts.

Dorset mate, I watched the game with my 15yo son(Conor) and my wife. She kept telling me to tone my language down in front of my son about them being Nazi, racists bastards. I then had a prolonged argument with her about this. Its important he knows they are a spiteful club, ok, my tone probably should have reeled back a bit but they are spiteful and he is intelligent enough to take what I said on board and understand that everything they stand for is wrong.

Mrs Dorset got right umpty about my language this afternoon, but it's not my fault that those cuntish chavs are cunts is it? I was just shouting out what they are, OK I did it a lot and very loudly, but they are cunts and I was really angry, I still am.

I've calmed down a bit now....to just very angry, having been through fucking furious and absolutely seething....not with our lads, the manager or the ref just the result.

We looked fantastic for 40 minutes, first time I've seen the press since City and knocked the ball around beautifully, Chelsea couldn't get near us and then we seemed to switch off for about 10 minutes either side of half time and it was all over.

It was a relief and good to know that we have that first 40minutes in us still, it's there and with Toby and Danny back in defence, which looked a little rabbit in headlights for 15 minutes, we'll push on now I think. Just so cross we didn't win after such a brilliant start.

Hmmm........good to see that we can still play well as most have alluded to above, but 2 wins in 8 games is not top half let alone CL form, and if we do get into CL will we play a full strength team once there? Hmmmm........

Points wise no. We have the same points after 13 played. Looking at our rivals after 13 games:

  • The dirty chavs had 14 points, this season they have stolen 31 - 121% up
  • United had 27 points, now 22 ( if they win today) - 18% down, hee hee.
  • Liverpool had 20, now they have 30 - 50% up
  • The scum were on 26 and if they win today they will be on 28 so 7.7% up.

If the scum lose today ( please let it be so, then they will be down 3.9% ),so then we will be doing better than them, oh please, please, please let that loverly little Dorset side fuck them over!

The chavs and the dippers are doing much better than last year so we need to catch them up to keep in contention. On the other hand Leicester are out of it and United are dog poo so, those two balance things out maybe? Dunno.

Anyway we are still doing OK, 7 points off the top after a third of the season means we are still in the race, the chavs have the potential to implode and we have the ability to duff over any side in the PL, it was so close yesterday and we did it against City. Winning our home games against the chavs and the scum will make a big difference.

I'm still angry, but like you said that anger is directed only at the result and the lost chance of finally winning at the Bridge and shutting those gobby thugs up for a week or two.

I loved that new song "no noise from the nancy boys" made me proper laugh.
Anyway,we have got this, this is our year and turn at the bridge.Just carry on playing with no fear.

" no noise from the Nazi Boys "
The most incredible thing was , when they scored their second goal I watched the crowd in the opposite main stand , the " tourist". Stand, and I doubt if 10% got up to cheer.
I hope we made enough noise, those " plastics " next to us hardly did nothing either still they scored.
We were good until the 43 rd minute, and I tjough M.Oliver was poorish on several occasions, esp not a booking for pulling Dembele back which ultimately led to their first goal.......rather remenant of Hazards goal for last years Battle of the bridge

I'm looking for positives tbh....really I'm gutted especially after playing so well for the first 40 minutes. It turned out to be almost a carbon copy of last year without the violence. We're not far off beating this mob at their place, you just of knew that they would get their act together at some point and it happened to coincide with our defence, going to sleep at the same time.

All in all during November, which has been a very tough month of 3 local derbies, two away from home against fierce rivals, CL and a bucket load of injuries, we've done Ok. We now need Toby back Asap because the defence looks a bit fragile to me without him there to exercise his calm control and we need to make a statement in December and over Xmas with a series of winnable games. I hope and think we will and it will be close, with all still to play for in the New Year.

ah sounded like nancy to me lol actually think that is funnier goes with the rent boy tag they so love,I personally dont think their firm is ashamed of their nazi links, but they hate the rent boy stuff.

I thought we played well, they were/are top of the league and we outplayed them at home, and OFC out sung them !!

I hadn't really looked at it from this viewpoint so far. It's surprising how similar this season and last are.
Home wins vs city, west ham, palace
Home draw vs Liverpool
Draw with Everton
1-1 away at Arsenal
Away win vs promoted side (Bournemouth/Middlesboro)
1-0 win vs Sunderland
1-1 draw with Leicester
Pl 13 W6 D6 L1

Just seems like we're not playing as well and the European failure has been very disappointing.

I had to referee and play on Sunday morning so I watched the game on delay before riding to my game. The second goal pissed me off, especially as you could see it was going to almost certainly be a goal way before it was in the back of the net. We got pulled so out of shape and then allowing such space and not tracking Moses at the back post was just sickening. It was like a goal you see a bad kid's team concede. Really frustrating considering how we played for most of the game, particularly for the first 40 minutes.

I think this is the first time we've played well and lost since Leicester home in January. And that with a squad pretty heavily hit by injuries/suspension--nobody will ever convince me, for example, that Moses would have been so wide open with Rose or Davies on the left. I am angry at the result for the same reasons everyone else seems to be, but I thought we responded well to Tuesday's disappointment and are now entering a run of fixtures that we ought to be able to take full points from (including the shower that is Man United).

The way that we had them on lockdown in the first half was really impressive. To score against them and also have some other good chances to score was very positive considering how well they are playing at the moment and how they can basically play the same team every game, something which is vastly underestimated by many people.

Agree, this is Poch's major headache at present in my view and we've done relatively well in the league considering, especially as the players that have been missing over recent weeks are not 'fringe' players.

Much knicker wetting going on elsewhere in spursworld after this result. Not sure why we performed well without toby, broadway,(and davies) and lamela, who were all starters week in last year, were we thumped?hanging on at the end?not show desire?
Yeah losing sucks, but away at a team that has had literally a billion pounds spent on it,where we havent won since lineker, who are champions every other year, and now people need tena pants?
Poch out? silly daft cunts.

Don't know why I should be surprised at this point, but people are actually saying this?
the same people who were crying it after 3 months, look if people dont like him personally, fair enuff but judge him on his record surely?better than harrys, avbs, sherwoods, jols, and everyone of lord sugar and Levys appointments. It is delusions of grandeur or we are getting as spoilt self entitled as other teams we mock.
Apparently signing sissoko is a sackable offence,ok but sack wenger for reyes and arshavin, fergie for taibi and dembe dembe, name one manager who hasnt bought a lemon?or four, its just down to dont like him personally, cos they forget what he has done with dier, rose, lamela and others who were failing under previous managers.

And finally, what I never see posted in these "out" tirades is,who the fuck comes in??2 years ago a few actually manned up and nailed their colours then to pardew&pullis, same people now still saying time for poch to go.Things will have to get considerably worse for me to start grumbling about this manager.I may be grumbling if results stay shite, but not time to change manager, not this season.

Yeh I wasn't all that sure about Poch in the beginning but he's won me over. I'm pretty convinced this is all a media induced storm in a tea cup, they love the old 'White Hart Pain' headline snoooooooooore...

I've been thinking about the game and at last can bring myself to post, I wanted to cry Saturday evening I was so frustrated. The idea that keeps recurring to me is that we don't have the correct 'type' of striker, particularly in these types of games when we force a team back and the space is condensed.

Harry - fantastically energetic, skilful traditional 'Shearer' type striker.
Janssen - Great hold up play, great feet and awareness.

What we don't have is a Gary Lineker/Tony Cottie type 'fox in the box', now I think IF we could get someone like that we'd really find our feet in front of goal. Discuss...

Harry Kane has been top scorer or thereabouts for the past two seasons...so he is as good if not better than all the strikers in the Premier league, including Aguero, Costa, Lukaku, Sanchez and anyone else you care to mention...you're just frustrated like everyone else that we didn't win!! Relax it'll all come good.

No, no, no I'm not slagging him at all, I think he's brilliant and stuff me he's only just come back from injury ffs. I'm thinking more of options and a style of player that could add something to a lineup where Harry plays a major part.

I am frustrated though!
