I thought it was great on Sunday, especially during the first half, that the Stoke carthorses in midfield and defence, clearly had a basic gameplan to wind Dele up, with incessant niggly fouls. Dele just kept getting up and walking off, all they got was 3 yellow cards, brilliant. Clearly he has got the ability to learn from his mistakes and will only get better. There is a lot less of his own niggly nasty fouls this season, with one obvious exception, so it's all good. We don't want to be a bunch of softies anyway do we. We had that reputation for too long in the past.

Nah, that fucking Champions League Tinpot competition just gets in the way of the real objective, so we should just play the kids in it next year and hope we get knocked out early, in fact we should never play Dele or Harry in any games in case they get injured or a bit tired.

ha ha......we have been playing the kids in it though, dele's 20, and the rest aren't much older. If we can keep most of them for a few years and add a few we'll beat everyone in a few years time. Happy days

I don't think Levy would sell this guy for any less than $150m and add ons. In a few years he could finance a stadium single handedly. And even better I don't think he would sell him and better than that I don't think Dele would want to go for a few years yet and maybe more if we start winning trophies.
Whilst I'm getting all excited I like to think that Poch may become our own version of Ferguson in modern times and Sir Bill of olden times....it just feels almost ridiculously perfect at present and the future is tangible and visible. Ah the good old Windsor knot, I used to pride myself on my Windsors when I wore ties, fuck that was a very long time ago, I haven't worn one of those fuckers this century! It is of course the mark of a gentleman, a good Windsor knot with the exact correct length, not tucked into the strides like a pikey and just a smidgeon loose, not too much, just to give a hint of casual elegance. The Poch can not be all that if he hasn't taught this young man how to do his tie up properly.
