Do we have to win well?

I still maintain this is the answer, and vary tactics accordingly

I maintain that you are correct Donny, as usual.

I wonder how some of our stuff would have been received if there were 60,000 Spurs fans at the stadium.

40k day trippers, 5k corporate, 5k scalped tourist season tickets, 2.5k empty seats of season ticket holders...

maybe a few thousand would be right fucking grumpy and refuse to wave their complimentary flags...

Decent Season ticket holders that genuinely support the team, through results like Norwich at home in the FA Cup last season, and RB Leipzig home and away, might be a bit miffed at some of your post mate....

Saint Bill said we do.

“It’s no use just winning, we’ve got to win well.”

There's a lot of chatter on here at the moment about how some cunts are happy with us playing total garbage and scraping wins or draws and how those cunts are happy with that as long as we win.

OK, sorry that was unfair, but you wouldn't have expected anything else from me would you? Personally I think it matters bigly how well we play and the ends do not justify the means. If I was going to accept that we were going to serve up 85 minutes of dross with the occasional counter-attacking goal every match, game after game of watching the opponents practising passing while we hoofed the ball up the park at every opportunity then i don't think I would bother anymore, I could just read the results the next day.

If you have a different (wrong) opinion and think it doesn't matter how we win, then you can just reply to this thread and I can scoff at you - or you can scoff at me, it is a forum innit?
I always thought that football was meant to be an entertainment game. His methods suck. How can we win games when we only have 25% possession. I have supported Spurs since 1965. I wouldn't pay to watch them at the moment. That hurts me to say that. I admire Leeds approach. Go for it and fuck the consequences.

The Everton match was a bit Bielsa. I loved every minute of it well, except for the 95th, but not the result.

Didn't we used to have a manager that liked both a high press and a solid backline?

Bielsa would be ideal for us. Play great football, win very little, that's what we're all about. No way Levy is shelling out for a bucket though.

I guess the question could be “do we want to lose well”?
