Watched 'Sully' last night. Another epic by the big man Tom Hanks.

I always remember seeing the actual footage of that Plane Crash in absolute fascination. The pilot did an incredible job getting the plane down with zero major casualties.

The film delves into the typical aftermath of such an event and the standard blame game. Without giving anything away I love how the pilot deals with the situation and the strategy he uses.

Watched Snowden on Friday there. I'd been waiting on it for a while. A seriously good cast and a very interesting watch. It's insane what governments do behind closed doors!

Surprised no-one has mentioned WestWorld, great series.

In terms of movies without naming the obvious, these are worth re-watching:

John Wick
Legend (Not the Tom Cruise fantasy movie)
Train-wreck
Jay and Silent Bob strike back
Popstar: Never stop never stopping
It Follows
Who's Next?
Dog Soldiers

I'm recording WestWorld but as with everything else it'll get binge watched when the series ends.

the bint came home with a box set of something called "desperate housewives". i though 'typical bird's tv' but, as the bint watches every spurs game i thought i owe her.

it turns out that it isn't as bad as i thought it would be. some pretty special levels of bitchiness though lol!

Mate moan like fuck about it though... never admit you like it as she will asume you have this "common gorund" and next thing you know you are taking a day off work to watch all the sex and the city movies back to back... FUCK THAT.

My Mrs watched it and I just used to nonce on the top level snatch and the kinky shit they somtimes got upl to.

watched it at the weekend, thought it was excellent, the fact the guy himself said it was a good representation of what happened and not all hollywood-ed up to the hilt.

watched the accountant yesterday. decent enough flick. I found it ran at a really weird pace. Seemed like it was getting going and then dropped off.

Also had a go on inferno. Only flicks Tom Hanks has been involved in that are pants. All 3 of em suck.

I watched "Seduced and Abandoned" last night. I have had it on Sky+ for years and not bothered before, but it was really good, starring Alec Baldwin it is a kinda film / documentary on trying to raise the finance for a film and it is shot around the Cannes film festival. The whole world of film is in it.

I'm a bit behind the rest of the world but just binged season 3 of Ray Donovan. Just brilliant. Jon Voight as Mickey Donovan is just the best character. Season 4 here I come.

Has anyone started watching Taboo which is written by the bloke who wrote Peaky Blinders and has Tom Hardy in it? If you have, any good?

Some of my favourite series have been:

1. "Californication" - I never liked Duchovny as an actor until I saw this Hank Moody character (an epic hedonist). A wonderful supporting cast with some brilliant guest stars with surprising roles. Sex, drugs, & rock & roll. It was 7 years of blissful viewing.

2. "Suits" - a sharp take on the legal community. A young, university drop out with a photographic memory poses as a lawyer in a fictional NY law firm. Just finished its sixth season.

For the above, the common denominator for me is the clever writing. Highly recommended.

Lately, have been watching "The Leftovers" (when 2% of the worlds population suddenly & mysteriously disappears, how do the rest cope?).

"MARS" & "The Expanse" are a couple of futuristic shows that I have been dabbling in. By the way, by then Spurs have won the Premier Title 200 times in a row.

It's a bit dark and a lot wierd, so I'm enjoying it. Plenty of grusome murdering and stuff. I like historical type telly and films, probably because I was born in the olden days and can remember what it was like.

What about Sherlock, I ask my self. Well, that has gone even more strange and it's getting on my tits, I might not even bother watching the last episode .
