Vikings is good,I am on the latest season, seems like they are hanging it out a bit now, common with a lot of good series. The episode "blood eagle" one of the few I`ve watched through my fingers.

Depends what you are after I guess, but Entourage is one of my favourite series. Hot women, funny as fuck and only 30 min episodes.

The killing - thought this was clever, if not a bit frustrating at points.
House - unreal program, it's hard to binge watch though cause House gets annoying.
Hannibal - Hannibal Lector is cool as fuck!
Ray Donovan - good watch

Just a few sensible ones I've watched recently. I like a sci-fi to be honest. Stargate SG1, supernatural etc.

Don't know if it has been mentioned but "The Haunting of Hill House" was interesting.
Not your typical horror story but well translated for the small screen from a powerfully written novel.
Kept me riveted & wanting more.
The premise is a husband & wife with their 5 children purchase a mansion & move in for the summer hoping to restore it & flip it quickly for profit. It manages to linger in & influence their lives for much longer.

Prior to watching it, I had read about viewers being unable to sleep or being made ill by the images & tension they experienced in certain episodes.
Didn't find that

Upon subsequent viewings, there's plenty that may have gone unnoticed the first time around.

Just 10 episodes so not a huge investment of time.

The wire??its a slow burner, but worth getting through all seasons even though they are very different. Its a great look at society in general,it really isnt cops and gangs stuff as you`ll see later.

My all time fav is the remake of battlestar galactica, got all sets, all spin offs, loved all the analogys of religion, current politics with being at war with different cultures religions.Found it pretty powerful without i guess most people even realising what it was saying.

If you meant you started on the wife, then you're in the wrong forum. If you meant the wire, it will grow on you, it really is addictive watching - Omar is a nice chap.

I actually haven't seen battlestar. SG1 was similar. God's like Anubis ruling over people. It has serious undertones but the main character was hilarious.

Watched it in the space of about 4 days a few weeks back mate. My bro told me about it as I love my psychological horrors, and reading the reports as you mentioned, ppl feeling sick etc but I was a little disappointed at the lack of scares to be honest. Felt it was a bit tame but still a decent watch. Might watch it again just to pick up things I know I may have missed.

I’m with @Glenjamin, Entourage is the nuts as far as i’m concerned, really easy viewing and a lot of fun and Ray Donovan’s a lot of fun, especially the first 4 or 5 seasons.

A plus one for Entourage from me too. Seen it twice, plus there is a feature length film at the end.

Does anyone ever remember a film that was only ever aired once in 1992 at Halloween called Ghostwatch on the BBC? I was only a wee skipper so I don't but I watched it last night. Very very clever for a film idea back then. Apparently people were proper upset by it. They used some of their current presenters and made it like a live show.

Gash mate, utter gash is what it was!! Never heard of Hell House either mate, until you mentioned it. It’s on Amazon Prime, so may give it a go over the w/e.

Also, anyone seen Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland? Watched the first 2 episodes last night, looks very promising.

Just ok...damn it!! Gotta say, I had a look at how many episodes there are and with there being 21 in the first season, I did think it might be a little slow at times.

Got so many things on the list to watch mate, gonna do DS, then Ozark, then either Californication or Narcos, that should sort me out for a while.

I said before Mr mercedes is fucking good too just to increase your burden!!A couple of episodes into that sunderland til I die netflix series, what it brings home to me is how whatever team we follow it is our love, religion, church, family, made me sad how nearly all teams fans are milked like an octopuss with parkinsons, treated like cattle consumers and fucked over.I mean fucked over by the government,FA,PL,EFL,sky,bt and then your own clubs board.Been reported that west ham charge £700 for a mascot to walk out with mark noble (spurs charge around £450 btw).As long as fans are so divided on tribal lines the rich will continue to fuck us over.Other than that its quite a good insight behind the scenes, though Grayson as manager comes across as poor as that bloke picking benson&hedges.

So not wishing to rush into things....having just finished Breaking Bad, which was brilliant, I’ve now watched ‘Snatch’. Also brilliant, Pulp Fiction-esque. Much cleverer than you give them credit for those pikey’s. Not the West Ham variety, the Irish fella’s. good fun, enjoyed it thanks for the tip. Homeland box set next ha ha ha

Just done first season of Ozark.... what an ending didn't see that coming.

Can't wait for season 5 Peaky to be done.

I reckon I'll have Ozark notched off by the end of next week, so I'll be back on the hunt for somthing else to rot my brain.

As a side note just finished reading the Tattooist of Auschwitz..... fucking great book. Harrowing considering the resurgence of than fat right in today's modern times.
