Lots of talk dele&eriksen deals done, toby staying could happen with wages now improved.Look in that what the top 6 need thread and how many players out of contract or into the last year,so far wilshere, can, fellaini all going on free`s,just bad business management by clubs, especially as last season all 3 were playing most matches when fit.
Just thinking about some of the ‘superior’ comments in the old place still makes me angry. ctw01 is he all that?? It’s a shame in a sea full of positives, they strive to find negatives to appear to be clever.

Its ok to stand still keep what you have and see it as a success surely? If we keep all the key parts thats a good base and any new signings are just gravy. We arent keeper deficient or centre back short,or defensive midfielder light compared to others,so no point knicker wetting cos another team signs a keeper, defender, midfielder or whatever, except man city they all need these things, and us 1st eleven is pretty solid, its not like we have a lovren karius, smalling, moreno, or any of arsenals crap to try and replace. We are in a good place before the window and fans should appreciate this too.

Wicked read. Thanks
cant understand why other teams fans (mostly scousers) vilify him so much,he`s a throwback to proper english men of a different age.Hard working, honest, respectful a proper example.

i might have said this more but harry kane has 5 times more goals in 150 minutes than wayne rooney in his career of world cup finals

How brilliant is it, when you watch a world cup and the bloke you want most plays for your team, having just signed a new contract.

Then you realise the best full back in the tournament is yours as well.

Thought his game was very good on Saturday. Aside from the penalty he forced a couple of saves and looked a bit sharper than he has for the last month.
Yeah he's definitely got potential, just needs to put the ball either side of the keeper....he's still young, he'll learn!!

He may have now scored in August but we all know the real hoodoo is no away goals in the league cup.

The perfect time to fix that coming up.

Think its just Chivers,Smith and Jimmy to catch now.
It would be fucking great if he stayed with us long enough to catch Jimmy, he could do it with the rest of this season's goals and two more (maybe three) - he needs another 108 to be the all time king of the Spurs goals.

Tranmere Rovers are the 46th different team Harry Kane has scored against for Tottenham.
