What a run from Jan, just a shame he couldn't finish it off......watching as ever on the IPad , mediaLivePlayer ,.......whilst watching a Man Utd v Palace, for 2nd time in 3 games Rojo did a two footed tackle and get away with it, this time a yellow, and then Utd take the lead, via a Ibrahimovic handball pass to an offside Pogba ........how do they always seem to get away with it

medialive app on ipad ?

Yeah on the IPad , mediaLiveplayer, then on RHS put in football and scroll down the channels till you, find the right game, press Software run, the top one, yes it buffers and runs 2-3 mins behind, but it's better than nothing

A mate of mine who was at the game tonight said the 'old boys' had their names sung at the end of the match....nice touch...

Good win well done lads....one day we are going to put 7 or 8 past some poor hapless defence....I hope it's Arsenal

Great game for us, and it's nice to see Eriksen getting back to form. Winks really impressed when he came on as well.

I think that the back three should be our default formation. It enables Poch to put our best XI players on the pitch (for me Dier is one of them) and plays to our strengths with Walker and Rose, both of whom were devastating against Hull.

Yes mate, I get every game live via Optus. I never miss a Spurs game mate.......even if it means I am late for work because of mid-week games such as this morning.

At the moment it's far better than the shit service that Fox outsourced and ran online. Also far better than Bein which I just chose not to renew because they can't do on demand anymore and don't show most Bundesliga games live.

Agree mate. I have everything locked away with Telstra/Foxtel because I want the AFL coverage. So all I did was swap my mobile phone to Optus (which had a better plan than Telstra offered anyway) and they throw you the Fetch-mini box for $5 a month. The only problem I have with Fetch is that the "on demand" function forces you to scroll through an hour of pre-game rubbish before you get to the real thing....and the occasional dropout but that is so rare as to be a non-issue.

Kodi is the next option. For a hundred bucks and a bit of time investment you can get access to absolutely everything.

I've become a big fan of HW over the last few weeks. This lad has a brilliant footballing brain. His movement always finds space, allowing our lads to pass to him. Before receiving the ball he has already selected his best option for his pass and whilst he does go sideways at times, there were far less back passes which frustrated us a lot yesterday evening, with some of the lads. He also has the ability to take on players and push forward. Must start for the Burnley game.
WTF is going on at the back with Hugo and his short slow passes just outside the box. It's awful and we nearly got caught out yesterday a few times. You actually see the opposition charging forward when Hugo gets the ball knowing we are going to f^ck around with passes around the box.
Special mention for Daws and Co with brilliant chants for our old lads during extra time at the end of the game.

Me too, when you compare Winks to Caroll you can see a massive difference. He has a big opportunity to break into the side as a regular. I think he has the ability

I'm really liking the look of this lad too. He's everything I wanted Tommy Carol to be, hopefully abit more game time over the season will see him flourish.

Brilliant, and not the only one like it: Jan's to Rose and Dier's to Walker also stand out.

Couldn't agree more mate. Best 2 full backs in the league imo. By a distance

A few of the lads above touched on it but it was absolutely top drawer stuff when the crowd sang a song each for Dawson, Tom and Mason. Outstanding

Someone on another forum far far away used to describe Ryan Mason as 'dog poo'....I don't know why - he had good and bad games like everyone else, but gave everything for the shirt and won us games like Sunderland away last season, getting injured in the process and losing his place. Top man Ryan, wish you every success in the future. Ignore the Numpties some are even out of nappies now....

I like Mason. He puts in a real shift. I don't understand why our fans need to personally insult our players/staff. Constructive criticism is fine, even venting occasionally is cool but this is why the other forum was going down the crapper.......due to the vitriolic nonsense perpetrated by the idiots who had infiltrated the place over time (and far too often I would get into arguments with these people thus diminishing my own enjoyment). Thankfully, most of the real good ones have found their way here.

That said, Mason was not quite good enough to play for Spurs but like every player who has ever pulled on a Spurs shirt (except that Judas piece of shit) I wish him well and bear him no ill will.

Watched the game again last night as I had a niggling feeling the other night watching it .i think that feeling was confirmed by roses comments saying we're currently playing at 60%.were simply not moving the ball quick enough and teams are seizing on it.i was interested to see poch say afterwards that we were playing a different formation with the full backs as wingbacks I think this lead to over passing in the centre mid and the cbs hence the backward and sideward passes to get them available to receive the ball,on the other hand it seem to free eriksen a lot more.i think it's very easy to lay the blame at victors passing as the reason for the slowdown but watching it again it really isn't him.i liked poch bravery in trying it it shows he sees there's a problem and he looked very frustrated early on as the team adapted to it but they got there in the end and it offers us a plan b

I like the fact that we have options and Chelsea have clearly made 3-5-2 a success so far this year. But in comparison to last year our football seems more sluggish especially in the final third when we seem to stop and pass the ball to death in front of the opposition defence hoping for a Dele flick to work, rather than taking on defenders which Walker and Rose clearly have the ability to do with their pace and turning defences.

That's just about my only occasional frustration, but it happens a lot and seemed less so in a 4-2-3-1 last season, with Dembele driving forward.

S'funny innit, I too fell we are not as sharp as last year yet we have scored 1 more goal, conceded 3 less and have 4 more points than we did after 16 last year! I reckon we could easily expect to win 5 of our 7 December /January league games and if we are playing at our best we could also win against Burnley and Sunderland and win all 7! OK, I meant City and the chavs! The nasties only just beat us at the Bridge and City are a bit pony at the moment so by the end of January we should be doing very nicely.

Interesting article here seems the players have had a hand in it as well ,it does take time to adjust and hull probily ideal team to try it out but it does take a couple of games to get it right so fingers crossed http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...am-wing-backs-freedom-to-attack-a3421701.html
danny rose said only 3hrs before kick off did Poch reveal his plan to play 3 at the back, and that they hadnt trained it during the week.
“We only knew when we went to the training ground about 5pm. We haven’t worked on it or anything."

http://www.hamhigh.co.uk/sport/foot..._hours_before_kick_off_against_hull_1_4817859

But I agree the passing was a bit slow at times, but we worked it well from side to side at the back between jan&dier in particular and it was Jans quick long pass that assisted the assist for Rose to eriksen for the 1st goal o_O It was kind of alli and eriksen that slowed it up when it reached them,Alli in particular had a poor night by his standards.

Yes it all goes to show that what we see ain't necessarily so and that most of us really know fuck all about what we're talking about....still none of that ruins the fun and cut and thrust of the debate.

That Dele Alli he's shite this year, we should get rid of him....what is Poch thinking about keep picking him. Sissoko is way better.
