Eze all agreed for summer, unless a calamity happens. QPR want go push for Play offs. Hence likely extension Amos staying beyond summer at QPR. JC expected to confirmed their end. Saving my nads this time :cautious:

the first bit is about the slightly more experienced one he mentioned yesterday:
other player we are in talks with is mid twenties much more experienced
player is not at benfica

Still looking at loans for striker , all of them hugely underwhelming

JM likes and wants him. Problem is Sporting demanding 60m euros, with loan until end of season, and compulsory purchase. If loan until summer, then higher fee. That counts us out as it stands right now. Yanited also having issues with them. Because Sporting have a monetary value they want to receive. Yanited throwing various different players in the equation, but Sporting so far taking the piss on their value of the players offered. For example, it is like us offering them TN, and they say we pay 40m plus TN. Before anyone reads we are offering TN as a sweetener in any deals. WE ARE NOT!!!

Foyth was offered to Sporting on loan as part of BF deal which is now highly unlikely.

Club and player keen on a loan deal elsewhere. Still has big future at the club but Jose believes it’s best for his development at CB that he plays every week.

Aurier unlikely to leave in this window as KWP is likely to leave and would be tough to replace both in one window. I imagine he will leave in the summer though. In unlikely event that both leave in Jan expect a homegrown young RB to come in alongside a more established RB (interest in a few good players). As reported elsewhere Milan have been interested for some time in Aurier.

Liking this unspoken relationship with QPR. Clarke going there on loan, hopefully should lead to Eze joining in the summer (although would love him to sign this month but that’s unlikely).

We already have sorted 1 fernandes 👍

The other is more expensive and more of a gamble with JM preferring TN as the base of his midfield

Told this morning not looking at defenders this window. Jose thinks he can improve them through training, and the money would be better spent elsewhere

I never said we weren't talking to defenders, I said we weren't pushing for them this window.

Lol, not that difficult to understand was it?

Seems some clarity needed, rather than confusion. Unless we sell first, we won’t purchase outright. It was not the intention to spend in January. But things change, and even magoo could see that. We were seriously interested in CB & RB. Would of dealt with loan and obligation in summer. Targets became too expensive, and unrealistic.

I am again told striker-wise, we ideally want loan with option.

if/when:barefoot: CE goes, there is a particular midfielder we would like to bring in. And that would be a straight purchase, with payments in summer, with some creative accounting similar to GLC being done. Due to the rise of JT, not as desperate to plug defensive gaps in this window, unless player on our list.

Eze in the summer, barring a calamity.

keep watching any whispers re ENIC. Likely to be true:censored:

Brighton very keen on KWP. Palace and Parish need smelling salt. Let’s see what happens. We want transfer, or loan with obligation. We value him 20m. Very flexible terms in order to help him find the right club for him.

JM is no mug! He took the job with a firm agreement on what budget he believed he would need for 2 windows especially. And if anyone is good enough, go back from day 1 on my comments (covered in hints),on how he would operate in his next role etc. JM is already Indirectly dropping big hints on his feelings.

when asked about signings at the end of his media duties, he motioned his head in the direction of the hierarchy, and said ‘to ask them’.

Great example how DL operates. Say Messi was available on a free, and was 30 years old. Wanted wages of 350k as zero transfer fee. And of 100% image rights etc (can’t find another name as we don’t do image rights in UK). DL would try to negotiate 200k wages, and 150k plus earned by appearances, goals etc. Messi would want those things added on separate. Image rights; DL would want 50%, which is a piss-take. Messi’s advisors may say, we will give you 10%. DL would create another image rights proposal, to attach to LM’s own. Deal would be on brink of collapse, as his sponsors wouldn’t agree.

Say now he has sponsors from Ike. DL would want a say of LM’s existing cherry to do the deal. Leicester would come in, agree to LM’s terms etc. DL hears about it, backs down and agrees to original deal. Agents don’t take DL’s call, and middle man gets told LM thinking about it. He signs for Leicester. DL gets media driven drivel how it wasn’t his fault.

Hope very good insight to how and why we have missed out on many deals. Which makes ITK’s look stupid.

Interest in Dwight McNeil is hotting up. He won’t move in this window but will likely move in the summer. We are at the front of the queue but have to compete with Juventus and Man Utd who are both very interested. Just need to hope they aren’t as interested as us. Really really good player.

we tried in the summer, and thought we stood a good chance, only for him to sign a new contract. We then went in for another youngster that ended up at citeh. I shared at the time, and if not to the populace, certainly to some. I really hope it happens, and agree great player. We were on him whole of last season.
