Honestly it would be really nice if we could just not talk about the guys in suits (or in this case business casual) for the future.

Let's hope the football is more interesting than the fucking balance sheet...

Someone said he's spoken to the fans more in three months than the Dark Lord did in 24 years.

Interesting story doing the rounds. Apparently on his last day, all of Levy's access to Hotspur Way was revoked and he allegedly wasn't even allowed back to collect his belongings which were supposedly returned to him "by van".

Pretty standard policy to not let someone back into the building when they are fired.

Very true but it's a little surprising at such a high level I suppose.

After transferring to Bayern Munich in August 2023, Harry Kane was not allowed back into Tottenham's training ground to say goodbye to his teammates or collect his personal belongings. The situation was reportedly a corporate decision

Petty shit like this is always funny to me.

I have an image of Levy pounding on a glass door while everyone inside just goes about their business.

Tottenham Hotspur supporters to stage protest before next Saturday’s home game against West Ham. “There is growing frustration within the fanbase surrounding the board's transfer strategy, clarity on the Director of Football role, our continuous injury crises season after season, recent results/performances on the pitch and extortionate ticket prices,” says fans’ group Change for Tottenham. “We believe acting now will hopefully mean our voices are heard at such a pivotal time during the January transfer window. Our first team and squad needs serious investment, and after The Lewis Family Trust, Vinai Venkatesham and Fabio Paratici told supporters that they were ready to be ambitious and prioritise trophies after Daniel Levy stood down, all we ask as fans is that these promises are kept.”

In the board's and new management's defense, they haven't even had a transfer window yet. Now, I've no doubt they'll cock it up, but give em a chance!

That... Applies to the manager also...
It does, but the problem is that nobody will want to sign with us with Frank in charge. Although it's getting to the point where the manager might not even matter. We are far removed from being a desirable club to play for.

Love a bit or virtue signalling. Join a protest and then go and spend lots of money in the stadium.

We need to give the new board/manager at least a season before we throw our toys out the pram

Can't imagine the Gallagher signing and Patrici exit aren't direct results of the protest.

a
I'm reviving this one again chaps...

Go fucking at it...!!!

Do we now discuss the plethora of players out on loan...

The Patrici scandal... It is a fucking scandal...

The releasing of players with real value...

The financial fuck ups on players with stated release clauses...

The Conté saga...

The Kane extending his conract saga...

Think this thread was first set free in 2019 and all the above still stands...

We've witnessed absolute horse muck football since then (some would argue before) and achieved the accumulative sum of fuck all...

It still fucking stands...!
