I need a stiff drink ..
I've had too many already and I need some more, my heart rate has gone up to over 60, which is really high for me, it's normally mid 40's - because I'm a fit athlete, yeh right, that's why.

Absolute man of the match performance from Kane with Romero not far behind. Lloris more than made up for his first half fuck up as well.

The whole side were outstanding. Hard to fathom that City literally had 90% possession at one point.

This is the kind of win that should fire them up for the rest of the season.

I mean wtf, this group of players and our club just make no sense to me.

Absolutely mental, bouncing off the walls right now, and my brother’s a City fan, they’ll probably win the league but this is my night!

Yeah, "should" is definitely the operative word. We're Spurs so we'll probably lose to Burnley on Wednesday but definitely a night for celebration. COYS

We still gave the ball away too much, but against them, who doesn’t...?

Kane gave a he'll of an audition.

Bentancur is an absolute upgrade on those who we have disposed of over the winter... he gives me a bit if the "Old Dele's", with more workrate.

Kulasevskiviskivy.... is also an upgrade but I'm waiting for that something special. He is tidy, industrious and clever... Everything TND will never be.

Hugo was a monster... it was his fault, but he saved our ass more than he didn't...!!!

Dier and Romero every week, rain or shine.

Royal and Sess.... didn't perform like wankers for the whole evening... more not being wankers please lads...

Agree with the sentiment from others that that performance and that result was special...

We need more of that attitude and application and if we have that as our benchmark for every game we won't do half bad...

Kane 10/10 one of his best performances in a Spurs shirt. He was immense today his passing and positional play was exquisite!

Lloris 7/10 apart from the daft fucking mistake he saved our arses with an incredible save from Gundogan. Generally happy with him and the criticism he gets is outrageous!

Dejan Kul 8/10 he may be as slow as a tortoise but he makes it up with his passing and crossing ability. He also worked his ass of today!

Bentacur was under par for me today to be nit picky. Royal and Sess did relatively ok and having Eric back was a big boost!

Also Sonny 7/10 That’s what I like to see unlucky not to have another assist from the Kane chance saved by Ederson but boy he loves playing against City!

Loved the pass from Conte.

I watched the replay of this and Holy he'll! Where did that come from? What the actual fuck is wrong with this team? How do we play like we did last week and then this? And lol, double over one of the best sides I've ever seen. Of course. It's Spurs. Not sure if this will lead to anything or not (I will remain pessimistic) but that was fun.

OK. So my glue induced prediction didn't materialize but we still won.

What a massive win on so many levels.

Kind of got tired of this "Citizen Kane" BS.

He really gave it to them up the backside.

He looked Spurs through & through the way he played & celebrated it.

I believe he's won back many of his Spurs doubters.

Every time you nearly walk away from this cunt of a club they find a way to drag you back in.

What a pack of cunts but fuck me, what a brilliant and disciplined performance.

Not that i'm much of a gambling man any more, but i was having a bored look at the odds on bet365.

Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score: 13/10
Over 3 goals in the match: 11/8
Over 4.5: 10/3

You can tell i'm expecting the worst 🤣
Listen me next time .. would have been quids in .. heh

I have to disagree, sorry. Royal was a wanker, totally and completely. Maybe, he wasn't but I just don't see the value of him. It seemed to me that other players, especially Kulusevski had to cover for him and do his fucking job. Sessegnon? Dunno, I haven't made my mind up yet so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, he's only 21 and can definitely improve. I wasn't impressed with Bentancur, but its' early days, the rest of them, including Bentancur can come round mine for Sunday tea whenever they want - so it's only Royal who doesn't get an invite. I suppose I am anti-royal in more ways than one. Our Royal and the Windsor crime family can both fuck off.

Royal was sat on his arse at least 3 times in that game. Doherty must have been looking on from the bench and wondering exactly what he has to do to get a game.

Think I've calmed down now, almost. What a game, it had everything a brilliant, brilliant win and maybe the best interview Kane has ever had, let's hope not, it's not a day for putting a downer on things.

The one thing it showed us all is that being a Spurs fan is forever a roller coaster, it's futile to moan and bash our players, one minute we're shite and losing at home to Wolves and Southampton the next we're beating City away, taking all 6 points off them in one season. We've all accepted a life sentence of supporting Spurs we might as well get on with the highs and try and ignore the lows, because last Saturday at about 7.30pm and the same at Leicester a couple of weeks before, was europhoric and somehow makes putting up with the crap bearable.

Funny how the City fans are bored with winning every week, how does that work??
