I think it's a little early to judge him. Still young and only been here a few months. Frank apparently approved the transfer and he seems a far better option then Werner! However it is fair to say he is a working progress and we need players that can deliver now. Mbeumo and Eze would be nice.
Just Eze and I would be thrilled

Think we've got a cracker of a player - now that he might actually get some coaching!

Just spent 30m GBP on him and he can't make the squad for UCL. I had high hopes when we were linked then the loan was uninspiring. the following purchase was like why not its only 30m.

Very poor planning on the part of the club and a sign of how completely fucked our recruitment and homegrown development has been.
It's also just dawned on me that I don't believe he's removed Richarlison from the squad despite him being ruled out for seven weeks.

Frank probably believes that we won't progress so...

I just can't stand Frank's mentality. He's so negative. It is just so polar opposite to Ange's & Poch's.

Look, I don’t rate Tel but he’s been decent lately and our best attacking option in recent times.

If ever a player got shafted by his manager, it happened today when he was left out of the CL squad in favour of a guy who has barely kicked a football in months.

And this sort of bumbling ineptitude is why Frank must go. He’s delinquent in his role and now embarrassing himself.

If Richie is still in the squad and Tel isn't, then it must only mean we're lining up a loan/sale in the coming weeks...

If I was him I'd go full mental and refuse to play/train... Fuck it, what are you losing at this point...

And as a club... We look so bad to any new prospects even considering joining...

As Crypty said, Tel is one of the few that has shown some spark recently so removing him is unfair.
But I believe that there's a rule that Solanke being reinstated could only be for Tel b/c Tel replaced him in the first place.
Still, not fair to Tel.

Yeah mate, that rule is there but it’s rather ambiguously worded.

And even then, Solanke hasn’t been anywhere near it for months. I almost hope Dortmund turn us over.🤬

Solanke was utter muck... As per.
I do think we look much better with him on the pitch. He can actually hold the ball up unlike Richy, Tel, RKM. That should be a bare minimum for a top-level striker I know, but it's been a massive issue this season IMO.

His finish looked as bad as some of my five-a-side goals. But I thought he looked very good otherwise. Love the pressing and overall workrate. I think Odobert in particular benefited from his presence. The man knows how to get out of the way as well. Means we won't get as many scrappy chicken-man goals, but maybe more production from the wings.
