Hasn't it already been confirmed that he's gone at the end of the season? Last night his players let him down, including the horrible goalkeeping mistake.

Personally I don't want Poch back until Levy is gone and he has support from the new board.
I don't think it's been confirmed as such, but there does seem to be an expectation that he won't be at PSG next season.

Apparently his family are still based in London and he's been living out of a hotel in France as well.

I'd certainly be interested to see how he could work with Paratici though, but let's face it, I'll likely be dead in the ground before Uncle Joe sells up. And in the world we live in now, it will be almost impossible to find a buyer willing to pay his asking price unless it's Saudi money.

I want Conte to succeed...

Poch is welcome but let's not kid ourselves that it'd be like old times...

Levy can't be here if the club is alowed to grow properly.
Agreed on all points. Still, I have a sneaking suspicion that Poch'll be back, and sooner rather than later.

I don't think Tony's ever stayed anywhere beyond two seasons. He managed half of Serie A + the national team before coming to FC Putin, and he's still young for a manager. Obviously Conte's ambitions and those of Lewis, Levy, and co are different, so I just can't imagine him being long-term.

Maybe 2+2=5, but it does kind of look like the stars are lining up. My plan is to just enjoy Conte while he's here--obviously we all knew he was a world-class manager before, but I've grown to really like him--and see what happens.

I've heard reports that the bastards that run PSG will likely sack Poch before the end of the season so he can't win his first league trophy. Yeah, he knew what he was getting into when he went there, and he'll leave with his reputation intact and rich as fuck, but what an absolute sewer of a club they are.

I mean, it was kind of a given that he'd win the title anyway but with the front 3 he's had, it would have been a failure he'd have never lived down if he hadn't won it.

Can't help but to feel chuffed for him though.

Yeah but will HE be ?
Although I absolutely love the man and hope that one day he'll be back. But if I'm honest, I don't think the PSG experience will have boosted his confidence much. Poch took over that job from a coach who just achieved the domestic quadruple and got to the CL final. So the critics that mentioned nievity and questioned his killer instinct to win trophies are still there imo and with justification.
He needs a spell at a club like an Ajax imo, where he can coach and develop and try to achieve success with younger hungry players who dont earn 10 times his salary. That's his strength.
I really hope he gets that kind of opportunity.

After dropping out of the champions league I was worried that the pricks that run that club would sack him before he won the trophy out of spite. Absolute basket case that club, but delighted that Poch got the trophy he deserves.

Two trophies, including a league title, in your first season managing a club would be seen as a massive achievement anywhere else I suppose but after the previous season where they did the quadruple, it's probably still seen as a failure of sorts which is crazy.

He's still widely expected to leave at the end of the season though so maybe Ajax is a good shout for him since Ten Hag will be joining United. As Dave said, he'll probably right at home coaching and improving the younger players.

Yep, I want Poch back, but only after Levy and his rich uncle have fucked off and we have an owner who will back the manager.

Yeah, he’d be a great fit at Ajax. Dortmund might be opening up as well, that would be another good job for him. Then he can blood a new generation of players that he can bring to Spurs when he makes his triumphant return.
