It's pretty amazing to watch how this team just puts teams like that to the sword. We have well and truly fucked some teams up this season. I agreed with those who thought this one would be tough, as Millwall are (were) in good form and would give us problems with their physical play. Nope.

Also very happy to see Janssen score, but more because of the reaction to it than anything else. Everyone was genuinely thrilled for the boy, just further example of the team spirit of this group of players. I don't know if we'll win anything this season, but what a team this is. I've said it before, but as someone who's raising a couple of young players right now, it's so nice to support a team that they can look to as role models on the pitch.

I was reading something on Quora (my first mistake) by someone who supposedly was a youth player at Bayern about the attitude of professional players and I must say that our team and Poch really make me question the accuracy of his statements. I don't doubt that many are quite egotistical (that's certainly my experience of playing high level sport) but I would say that there are teams and then there are pragmatic collections of individuals that manage to get results and that there are also players that are just comfortable with being good or excellent players and don't have that narcissistic dominant type of personality.

Haven't read that article thing you're talking about, but you're right. Some professional athletes are egotistical assholes who you secretly wish would fall down a flight of stairs when they leave your company..... thankfully there are also just as many who are decent people with focus and understanding about what really matters.

I always say there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance.

With Poch in charge he's the kind of man who would not put up with a shitty attitude and he strikes me as someone who would bring you crashing down to earth if you ever got too big for your boots.

As for yesterday, brilliant game, amazing rocking atmosphere, and as of yesterday finally sat in every section of the ground! I got stuck at Park Lane cause my timing was crap, and got caught just as they were escorting the Milwall crew in. Police was a little overkill, but I do get why.

Highlight outside was some midget man with a hood on his head was giving some policewoman on a horse verbal, and the horse out of nowhere leaned down and kind of nibbled the top of his head.... the high pitch scream that came from him just made everyone burst out laughing:D

Thanks again @Wotspur :)
