I see what you’re saying but to me it’s a continuation of the 2nd half of last season

Poor performance by the team under a stubborn manager who is beginning to worry me!

What was he thinking about with the Subs?

Putting Werner on RW?

I wouldn’t put him anywhere as I just don’t rate him or Johnson now known as BlowJob in certain forums!

With Son not performing on the left it’s difficult to be critical of Solanke as his service wasn’t good but he had one decent chance which he should have put away!
I really don't want to be negative in week 1 of the 24/25 season and I have said how much I love Ange's philosophy, but! As you say DMackay, this tunneled vison approach by Ange is a concern, along with the faith he obviously puts in Werner and Johnson. He, Ange, comes across have having "large pair" so prove it mate by selecting players who are in form, the likes of Gray, Bergvall, Kulu, even Spence. When these boys play we play with a greater tempo and have a more cutting edge. Even Sonny, who is a god in my eyes looked way off it, but the ability we all know he has should allow him to be giving more time to find his form. Repeating myself, I'd loveto see Gray and Bergvall start against Everton and be given a run of games. Repeating myself again, Vicario was a complete
twat in the way he reacted to young Bergvall's mistake! I'd like to see Romero do the same to him when he bottles it on corners. Wanker!

Wait, why are they calling Johnson Blow Job? His finishing is the problem, after all.
Johnson is a one trick pony. 8 times out of 10 when he tries to beat his man, either he doesn't or he runs the ball out of play. On the 2 occaisions he does manage to get past the defender he predictably hits a low cross in which is usually either wayward or cut out by the first man. Can he even lift a football off the ground? Ange persists with him because he is an Ange purchase and AP is desperate for him to succeed to prove himself right for backing the purchase!

I’m all in favour of keepers dominating their area and giving defenders bollockings if they screw up but you don’t get to choose your targets!

Vicario was a coward imv for screaming at Bergval for making a mistake which led to a header on goal (which he made a meal of as it was a routine stop) but saying fuck all to Romero and Porro for their collective cock ups leading to their goal!

Obviously hasn’t got the balls to criticise senior players!

Ange needs to get a grip!!

Watching the replay of the goal, I’m not sure Cuti did anything wrong. He was goal side and ball side of 14. Problem was Porro didn’t get back to mark the cunt vardy in time after going to ground trying to block the cross in from 16.

Yes you could argue that Porro was equally at fault but defensively it was a shocker!
