Lol,i have actually learned a lot from following the build on a forum dedicated to building, still and i have said it before, cant get my head around all the detail in the planning, from foundations to where every USB socket will be.
I would still hedge that the build will be on time, people saying no way will we move in august next year, are pretty much like people who say we cant get a result in madrid, just expressing a negative opinion without fact or basis.Yes the schedule is tight, many things could cause a delay, weather, strikes, some hiccup in the planning/engineering,suppliers of critical parts failing deadlines and so on.But from all the planning documents and statements from Mace, thfc and so on we are where we should be,and money/manpower can always be thrown in greater abundance if it will make the difference.By xmas structurally the south stand will be full height, the retractable pitch will be well under way and that really just leaves the roof february-ish as a major task which could cause such a delay.
Anyone wanting to know the best info go to skyscrapercity.com and check out the NWHL thread,45,000 posts on it alone, and then also checkout anfield, palace, chelsea, wembley or whatever else stadium is being planned for work.
