They say the roof is one of the last things to go on, right?
Levy said feb,his comment was in relation to knowing if we are on schedule.
I guess its the one thing left you cant merely throw more manpower at,outfitting, glazing, and so on can all have people and equipment thrown at it,more cherry pickers, more bodies working, but the syncronised lift of the roof, fuck all you can do about that, its planned and another 1,000 people wont speed that up.

Yep, just like software engineerings really... throwing more people at the problem might not necessarily speed it up (in software engineers, the reverse is often true)

New south stand/atrium render.
Notice the entrance level signage on the lower level (you may have to click to enlarge the image to read it) "All levels north, west, east" and a sign next to it "all levels south stand".
Guess that means movement around the stadium like the club hinted at,will happen.Segregation inside is what has led to most people drinking elsewhere pregame,if you are in different levels or stands it was impossible to drink together inside since the 80s,unless you did the galapagos iguana run across the pitch!

Correct... knock that piece of shit down...
The only thing in its favour is that it's the former home and HQ of the Supporters Club. Which I must admit I didn't know...it's still right out of place now though.

Warmington House is a tangible link to Tottenhams past and the old stadium, keeping it reminds us of who we are and where we've come from, do we need to throw away everything 'old' in the chase for modern, super football millions?

No we don't, you're right and I think we're keeping the famous old wrought iron gates and the cockerels from the top of the East/west stand. Warrmington House however seems a little of place and awkward.

I don't know, maybe it just means more to me. There used to be a little entrance next to it where me and my sis used meet and to go through to our seats/turnstiles. Seems silly but I like the old architecture setting off against the new, I also really like the idea of it being the museum entrance, kind of binds it to the club and the historical journey you go through at places of interest.

Edit: I'm hoping they've kept some of the old turnstiles and doors for the museum as well!

I saw we gave 3 turnstiles to Welwyn Garden City FC To Help them make the grade for higher league's which was a nice gesture, so some of White Hart Lane lives on.

I wonder if the new turnstiles will be OFC Friendly? (Obese Fat Cunt). The NHS are having to buy bigger, stronger beds, chairs, trolleys etc. for fat cunts so I expect bigger turnstiles will be needed. I was thinking about bogs the other day, they were designed for human sized people to park their arses on, not huge great fat lardy bastards, will they need to be made bigger and stronger? It would be funny though if a fat bugger got a toilet bowel stuck up their crack or the fucker collapsed under the weight, that would amuse me.

What about seats at the new stadiums? I fucking hate it when a lardy cunt spills over his allocated arse parking area into my space, I really don't want to get that close to one of these cunts. Discrimination against 'big' people? Yep, absolutely.

I think I remember reading that this happened before for some reason, maybe with Layton Orient or Charlton or someone , when they fell on hard times. It was quite a while back.

Swanky food alert!!

Bryn Williams’ traditional British style and Dipna Anand’s vibrant Indian style of cooking, join the classical French cuisines offered by the Roux family and Chris Galvin, to create a Michelin-calibre offering never seen before at a sports and entertainment venue.

Bryn Williams partners with Tottenham Hotspur having been part of the most prestigious kitchen teams in the UK.
Williams, who will design and prepare the entire On Four menu, said: “It’s incredibly exciting to bring my signature dishes and Britain’s finest produce to the Club’s New Stadium.
“The H Club closely resembles Michelin star restaurants across the globe in everything from the design and atmosphere, to the food that will be served. I’m looking forward to being part of something that takes the food offering at sports and entertainment facilities to another level.”
Anand added: “I have a love affair with Indian cooking and through this exciting collaboration with Tottenham Hotspur, I’m looking forward to bringing the fantastic Indian dishes I grew up with to a new audience.
“At one match, guests On Four might be eating the finest European cuisine courtesy of the Roux family, Chris or Bryn, and the next they will sample my taste of Asia – there is a great variety on offer.”

Andy O’Sullivan, Director of Hospitality, Tottenham Hotspur, said: “Bryn and Dipna complete what is an outstanding line-up of acclaimed chefs that will further enhance the premium offering at our New Stadium.
“These partnerships with some of the world’s finest chefs demonstrates the commitment the Club is showing in delivering what will be London’s best sports and entertainment venue in every aspect.”
In addition to the chefs now confirmed, at seven games each season the Club will offer emerging ‘Hero Chefs’ the opportunity to showcase their talent On Four. Chefs from the local area and entrants into competitions such as the Craft Guild of Chefs ‘National Chef of Year’ will be chosen to design the menu and host service On Four, following in the footsteps of the Roux family, Chris Galvin, Bryn Williams and Dipna Anand.

New internal renders to go with the "we do nice food guff" statement from THFC.

Basically it's a way of paying a lot of money to get together with your top customers using football as an excuse, or as Roy Keane put it 'the prawn sandwich brigade'. The real fans - or maybe these are the 'new' real fans because it's going to cost a fucking fortune, so the fake 'real' fans as the real 'real' ones will be in the pub or eating kebabs and burgers outside.

Anyway it's football, but not as we knew it and to be honest will likely never know it, which is fine by me.

I think you're right mate, the real fans will be watching in pubs and maybe they will become the new homes of football. Some enterprising pubs will put big screens up in the gardens like the Oaks in Neutral Bay, you remember that place innit? Fucking pukka that pub! They will have uncomfortable plastic chairs, dirty smelly bogs, shit beer in plastic cups, big fat blokes telling you to sit down, sprinkler systems pissing freezing cold water onto your bone throughout the game and it will be just like going to proper old fashioned football.

I am not interested in fine dining or the premium experience the new Lane will be offering and I really don't think that a whole load of mega-rich cunts will be either. Of course they will all be the there for the United, Liverpool, City, Chavs and scum games. But how many corporate execs will be there on a Monday night to watch its play Huddersfield or for Dorsetville Wanderers in the League Cup? Non fanatic types will go once to a music or non-football event, realise that N17 is not an oasis of gentility in the big smoke and is a total cunt of a place to get home form - and not bother again. I am sure that Levy will make enough money from the big games and the rich cunts buying premium season tickets, he will make enough money even if he never sells a ticket through offshore tax-avoding property speculation with his evil partner Big Joe, he will be sorted don't worry, Mr Buyrite won't have to claim benefits.

I think without a tube station right outside the stadium it will never be the venue Levy is selling to you lot, not me because whenever he says anything I do what I do when flag-wavers talk, I put my fingers in my ears and sing a little dirty like Motorhead's 'Kiled By Death'.

Ha ha the Oaks in Neutral Bay....what a brilliant place that was, walking distance from the floor I was sleeping on at the time, great take away pizza place over the road as well. Good times.

The whole principle of this fine dining, come and feel the shininess of my table and fur-lined loo seats, is the same as the airlines. They make all their money from the 24 people at the front and the 40 behind them in Business Class, while the rest of us - the cake rather than the icing are crammed in down the back with DVT and a broken TV set the size of a mobile phone. Guess we can vote with our feet, will be interesting to see what the new pricing structure is like.

Mate, the PIE SHOP opposite! (Shakespeare if my very dodgy memory is correct) I loved those pies, them ozzies can't do beer but they do exceedingly good pies, the pies at the SCG with the sachets of tomato sauce were fucking horrible, but, perfect for watching that very strange game. They also do BIG pubs, the Oaks would make the Gilpin look like a little public bar, I miss public bars, I remember when my local in London knocked the public bar wall down and joined it to the saloon it was really funny because if you swore in what used to be the saloon bar, (the border was where the carpet starts),you would get barred! 1p a pint cheaper it was in the public bar, so that was the place for me. I know my place.

I don't think the prices will be coming down anytime soon, but as I have ranted about a million times, Levy doesn't need to charge anything at all. The pleb members and current STHs could be given a season ticket for a token amount, a hundred quid say and it would make fuck bleeding all difference to the finances but it would ensure the atmosphere needed to lift the spirits of those poor underpaid players. We all know that ain't happening because the arch cunt would rather fill the stadium with well behaved, polite tourists and rake in even more money than have the uncouth, foul-mouthed rabble who used to watch football when it didn't cost the same as it would to feed your family for a week for a fucking ticket. The revolution is coming!
