Ange is going to feel the pressure after this, i don't care what anyone says.. I love Ange but It's not acceptable to be outfought and create so little against a winless side.
As you said in the first half, he’s got to rethink playing Maddison and Deki in midfield. We gave the initiative to them and never got it back.

Really poor.

We are an ultra attacking team that can't attack. Figure that one out!!

When Son isn't on we simply don't look like scoring.

@Dave hit the nail on the head Hojberg is the worst sale we've made in quite some time. We really need that steel in the middle of the park.

And add that we can’t defend either?

The defensive errors we are witnessing at the minute are hard to take for sure. A lot of them aren't even due to the high line which makes it worse.

That was such an uninspired effort & a waste of my effort getting up & staying up early after a late night. I honestly thought that after that crap first half they would come out raring to burn the place down but it was more of the same.

I hate to use that derogatory term but it is so apropos that we give a winless team their first.

Disappointing result. As much as I desperately want Ange to succeed, I can’t help but to wonder what someone like Graham Potter could do with this squad.

I wouldn't take Potter personally, but all I want is for him to stop setting us up so we invite the opposition to hit us. Eze got straight through as a result of our centre halves standing on the half way line. It's Ridiculous!
I love Ange. He's been an injection of positivity and put a smile on all our faces (Except Strikegold)...which was missing for a long time. But when I see us really struggling to get going and being second best to a pretty poor side who's starting eleven is a fraction of the value of ours...and then I look at Ange....standing motionless, hands in his pockets, it drives me mental! He looked like an undertaker.
Where's the instruction, where's the anger, where's the leadership ?
Have to admit, I'm starting to lose patience with him.

I'm not there yet with Ange as I still have faith in him.

I believe he does most of his instruction & motivational work in & around the practice pitch. Then it is up to the players during the game. In the past, we've seen the team come out blazing after having a rocket fired up its collective ass during halftime. Today they were limp. He tried to change the personnel up but look at the options. A diffident Werner showed more in his cameo than others did in 90 mins.

This is a strange team.

I think it's unbalanced and the players can't do what Ange wants/asks them to do so they're a bit lacking in instructions department...

I am sure this squad could probably do better in a slightly different system...

I don't like Anges rigidity with regard his tactics and philosophy... It's naive and arrogant and shows his limitations and therefore those if the team in terms of growth...

I want him and he team to get better, but tby doing the same shit every time you learn fuck all.

We've made mistakes, lots of them and we need to learn from them and not make them again...

Horrible performance but you’d be mad to jump off Ange yet.

I suppose we’re forgetting the fact we’re on 7 wins out of 9 games. 21 points out of a possible 27 isn’t bad going ..

Yeah, seriously considering sacking him at this point would be silly.

Saying that, honestly I thought the football would be a little more consistent by now. I also don't begrudge a little venting after what was definitely an appalling performance.

Big game against City midweek.
