I agree that aren’t any outstanding challengers, and I’m always here for some Liverpool hate, but I think some of that is due to the fact that there are so many good sides that are sort of beating each other up. I’m not sure I remember a year where there were so many good mid-tableish teams.Scousers are so lucky. First the win the league because of the impact of Covid. Now they are going to win the league without any decent challengers.
It’s been a poor premier league IMO, no consistent quality except for Liverpool.

They were the only side that showed consistency from the start. Nobody else has come close. I think it's a case of alot of big clubs with crap squads who's players are either past it or not at the level their wages suggest.Well, are they lucky or are they consistently quality? Not their fault there are no decent challengers. They play. They win. We play. We suck.
Will we be in it?Liverpool deserve to win it this season...but I doubt they'll repeat it next year. I actually think next season will be the most open title race since the PL began.
Your post got me wondering about our possession stats this season. From www.whoscored.com:That just shows how much we don't have the ball...

Is it just me... Or does anyone else feel a bit silly when it comes to describing ourselves as European Champions...?
I mean... We've been the biggest fucking joke all season, sometimes also in the cup run... Like, some of the fucking worst football I've ever witnessed from a Spurs side...
I don't t know, maybe I'm suffering a bit of imposter syndrome as a European Champion...!!!
Interesting. The gap between the shittest and the best is not all that large. I reckon commercial revenue dwarfs prize money overall, but the relative parity of the prize monies is, well, interesting.
Also it's objectively very funny that we finished this of all seasons with a trophy, and Arsenal and Man City didn't.Nah, it’s fucking awesome.
We prioritised the Europa League and we fucking won it. We were never going to be relegated so who gives a fuck where we finished in the league?
If offered a trophy and Champions League qualification at the start of the season there is not one Spurs fan that wouldn’t have taken it and run off giggling like a schoolgirl to build a shrine to Angelos Postekos.
Well that’s what we got.
Quite astonishing really.Liverpool 0 - 3 Nottingham Forest
Liverpool now in the bottom half of the table.
Same could be said of our mob towards the end of Ange...Quite astonishing really.
Makes you wonder if the players are actively working towards getting him sacked.
Hearing Andy Robertson talk after Scotland qualified, I really get the sense they’re still struggling with Jota. Then there’s the fact that some of their new signings (like some of ours) are struggling to make an impact. I just think the margins between being fucking brilliant and being rubbish are so fine nowadays. In the dippers’ case long may it continue.Quite astonishing really.

To be fair our overall XG is skewed by the fact that we had an expected goal difference of -500 yesterday.[Opta]'s expected points table has us at 17th, overperforming our xG by 8.8, our xGA by 3.1, and our points by 5.1
