I will too, just giving my head a chance to settle first.I have sent an email
I understand your sentiment and agree with the underlying rationale of the 'club' and relationship with the fans, but you also have to move on and build for the future. You don't for instance want to be driving around in an old Ford Cortina, with 4* petrol and a heater and radio that doesn't work, when your competition all have modern cars. The point that has been lost here, is that you can build a modern stadium and still charge accordingly for facilities/view/comfort. The North & South stand doesn't need micro breweries and cheese rooms. Guinness, Lager and Cider will suffice, with crisps, hot dogs, burgers, pies and sausage rolls (inc veggie options) the improvement will be in space, quality and speed of service.I will too, just giving my head a chance to settle first.
We have lost sight of being a club,a club is an organisation with members for whom the organisation is in place for and run for. That maybe a touch naive and utopian in this era,but are we merely a business or a football club?time to decide.
I would really like to know the investment costs of the NFL extras, massive basement extra works, retractable pitch, changed east "NFL" entrance, how much did this cost and how is the club going to pay off this investment, because seems to me football fans are paying for our club to court the NFL.Say it has cost £200m to NFL the stadium,20 games in 10 years are the club expecting to make £10m a match, and if it is a gamble worth taking for £200m,why didnt we take a financial gamble when Redknapp and pochettino (twice)have had chances of winning the league? Also do i really need a micro brewery, cheese room, heated seats, wifi stadium,60 bar/food retail outlets,if I am expected to pay towards these costs I would really like to know why when I wont use them or if this will pay back the cost of the stadium faster with less pain to myself.Thats fair isnt it??I am feeling that either the club is finally getting alan sugars wish to gentrify the club and remove the oiks,or we have taken the club to a place of extravagant oneupmanship.
I didnt even feel this butthurt as a teenager when we were relegated, club has got this massively wrong, alienate your members at your peril. This was a watershed moment in our history,i am tempted to quote the general here,oh what the fuck lets do it "there used to be a football club over there".
I can tell you for a fact that the club are aware and track many individuals and supporter/news sites across the internet. They also have a strong conduit through to the fans via THST and people like Kat law and Martin Cloake. The y are aware for example of the excellent article posted by @skiathospurs.Not aware of any negative response? ... probably because anything that sounds like a complaint goes right into pre-filter on their email server
I've not had a response from either of my emails to the club on the matter.
They probably havent got that new-fangled Google thing, I told her to look for 'tottenham season tickets' and she told me there are lots of grumpy folks. Maybe someone should tell Levy about Google, she knows everything! But, as he is a cunt, did I mention that? He probably thinks he knows more than Google. Not aware of any negative response? ... probably because anything that sounds like a complaint goes right into pre-filter on their email server

Hallelujah nail on head. What's really mind-blowing about this is that stadium revenue is significant, but not anywhere make-or-break for clubs. The TV deals are where the real money comes from, so why spoil all the excitement and good will that's been built up over the last few years with this? I never saw any of you suggest that ticket prices wouldn't go up some, but this is not only unjust, but really stupid from the club in terms of PR.
if that is the best they can come out with it's just embarrassing, which is a great shame. It's taken the shine off the build which is at a brilliant phase at present. The thing that has annoyed me the most is that it would have been so simple to avoid all of this with more thought out tiered pricing. And what's worse, I got an email the other day, offering me another tranche of 'premier seats' on the half way line of the east Lower, so the club are still at it. It beggars belief.fans who have contacted the Club individually, have been told is that there is no like-for-like seat comparison anywhere within the new stadium as spectators will have the benefit of improved facilities compared to the old White Hart Lane. This leads the Club to reject the view that Season Ticket prices have risen at all.
THFC are going full retard here.
Yes, that is literally one of the dumbest things I think I've ever read that wasn't a Trump tweet. It speaks to your point about the NFL infrastructure and the one by @Dorset about the "football experience." The bit I really don't like is - 'If you can't afford it, don't go'
Its not the prices (wont affect me),its not the phasing with people having to wait for their kids to be able to sit with them (wont affect me),its not putting "club wembley" in the middle of what is meant to be the home end,its not nfl, cheeses or the build cost, its the reverting to arrogance,"I own this and I will do what I want",just like lord fucking shite electrical goods was like.Sorry but this isnt american franchise business,we are 135 yrs old institution, created for members, still frequented by members, you can own "the clubhouse",but fucked if you own the members.Levy has got 1 year to win something big,not allow any player to leave for higher ground (or wages!) and bring in better talent because the upswelling of opinion is becoming very anti enic/Levy,and once that starts not a chance in hell of any success as the club publically rips into itself. There will be at most the new season honeymoon period, then it will start. He demands £1500 a seat, these people will demand trophies or the boards head.if that is the best they can come out with it's just embarrassing, which is a great shame. exactly !!!!!The thing is, I CAN afford it, but I feel like I'm being ripped off.
I don't like being ripped off.
They're not thinking. We'd be pissing ourselves laughing if this were any other clubYes, that is literally one of the dumbest things I think I've ever read that wasn't a Trump tweet. Nail on head part 2.The thing is, I CAN afford it, but I feel like I'm being ripped off.

We will have the best if not one of the best stadiums in Europe, we have 40 odd sts at Wembley and really created a spursy feel, i just think the club could have done better a 5-10% increase was acceptable and allocation based on Wembley may have been an idea, you cannot please everyone but seems to be more disappointed people than was necessary

It could have come from the orange looney couldn't it? It is the most ridiculous thing I have heard since someone said the UK would be better off after Brexit. Let's just ignore reality and make shit up! Daniel Levy: Everybody is happy, there can't been any increases because its all new, nobody has complained about the prices, punters want long bars and contactless payment and price isn't a big factor
Donald Trump: Everybody wants to work for me, I solved the North Korean crisis, the US has a trade deficit with Canada, there are good and bad people on both sides., trade wars are good and easy to win.
Are these two blokes related?
You say that but have you ever seen them photographed side by side....No? well there's the proof then....Nah mate. One is bald and the other has a fox carcass stuck on his skull. No way they're related.
They need to address it sharpish, or this will get absolutely toxic.Well that escalated quickly.
