It just fucks me off that we end up making them look like fucking Barcelona every time we play them.
Mate, they're a good side with a plan, and have the right personnel to make that plan happen...

We're not.

We're on our 3rd manager in 2 years with bang average players, some who want to be here and some who don't, who are just trying to make head or tail of Conte's plan and see if they can fit into it...

We're miles off them.

Oh you don't have to tell me that, it's as clear as day. Pep has the same at City and both clubs have owners who are only too willing to spend money on the team to get the right players for the right positions.

We, on the other hand, have an owner who (likely) says things like "£20m ?. Fuck that, offer them £10m or tell them to fuck off".

And a Chairman who says "Of course master, anything you say master".

On a positive note, all we need is 7 or 8 top signings and we'll be on par with them talent-wise. Fucking Levy cunt!

Very disappointing, that. I really thought we’d get a point there. Yeah they very much have our number, but it’s not like they were in good form ahead of this one. I just thought we were very timid, both in terms of how we set up and how we played. Rudiger is an absolute prick but he had Kane in his pocket for pretty much 90 minutes, and they had far too much time/space to operate in the midfield.

Too many blokes standing around admiring the work of the chavs. Sanchez was the worst for me, no, Davies, no Dier, no Doherty.....fuck it, they were all the worst. Did anybody understand what Sessegnon came to the fancy dress party as? Nobody was even above average in my ratings, maybe Harry, slightly and possibly Skipp. Was the two minutes of Gil time a goodbye gesture?

Thought Sanchez myself was the best of a bad bunch to be honest. Only players in my opinion who showed some fight and heart was Kane Bergwin and Winks to an extent.

Don’t know whether it’s a mentality thing but Sess was a complete passenger and non existent yesterday and we would of been better of playing Lo Celso that’s how anonymous he was.

Davies passing was shit yesterday and PEH looked knackered after the first 20 minutes.

Still pisssed off how we set up the exact same as with did the previous games.

He did set up Kane's disallowed goal, with a pass so good Harry didn't really need to do what he did to gain space. But overall, yes, he was very poor, though I didn't think notably so given the overall team performance.

I can’t be arsed to read this whole thread, I’m sure we’re all saying pretty much the same think. The chavs blew our lights out early in the second half just like they did at WHL earlier on the season.

There’s a gulf in class - this mob have played 16 games since 1 December and they still worked harder and looked more organised than us (generally). We did Ok - nothing more than that but even Levy can surely see we need some quality - even players that can pass to each other would be a start.

I know the Chavs owe The Russian £2bn and if he ever leaves they’re toast, but if we want to compete at the top table we need investment urgently. Levy ain’t going to do it so hands up if anyone knows Jeff Bezos…..

I hate Moneyball as much as the next bloke but it’s what football has become, so I guess we either shut up moaning and ‘enjoy’ it for what it is - or Levy sells for about the same figure that Abramovic is owed and someone with deep pockets comes in and we get a few proper players - not Adama Traore the Wolves substitute.

Don Tony can only work with what Levy gives him.

Levy Out
