Fucking YES!!,

Perhaps, considering the amount of games we had in the last few days. We should all start giving this manager a squad a bit more credit

Some absolutely inch-perfect penalties in that one. Well done boys.

Really good second half. good debut from Sergio and Excellent from lamela

Made two howlers that led to Chelsea’s goal but bounced back well and it was a clever little chipped cross that presented Lamela the equaliser. He’s going to be a very good one though, didn’t drop his head at all after the early jitters.

On Lamela, what a magnificent grafting performance right when we needed it, Kudos to that man.

I just want to shout out Dier, who was absolutely clutch on the shitter so as not to leave us a man down for too long.

Doubt he even had time to wipe, definitely be a pair of shit stained shorts for the kit man to wash tonight!

Better than doing a Lineker I suppose. Gives new meaning to taking one for the team.

I see it completely differently mate. A

Admittedly i’m basing it on the 2nd half, as I missed the 1st half, sounds like from the commentary, it’s just as well I did!
2nd half has been much much better from so much of the crap we’ve served for 18 months or so. Thought N’Dombele was really decent, always looking forward and trying to drive play, shows me just how sterile Winks looks in comparison, Eric also looked really lively, Reguilon looks really impressive as well and I like Hojberg a lot. I’m very happy with that 2nd half performance.
Be honest mate, 2nd half was much improved and we turned them much better...

I have said it before im super critical of them right now so just ignore my shit.... im still judging them on an in-flight Poch side brimming with pace guile and confidence.... i need to let that shit go.

Agreed N'FatBele did do much more and he is a proper player if he gets fit and keeps up with play... we need him and JLC to be on the field they're the first choice AM's for me and the rest are filler. Winks I like but he ain't creative enough, Sisoko is very specialised as an engine and enforcer he offers nothing going forwards... Bergwine didn't do enough Lamella was superb and Ragulion showed why they put in a buy back clause....

Oh and a little shout to Barren Dent on the commentating team...

Great result againt those bandits...

I hear ya mate, although any period of decent play these days makes me soil myself, coz it’s been so limited

If we can get N’Dombele properly fit, which he’s starting to look, then happy days. Hjobjerg and Tanguy in Cm with GLC behind Bale, Son and Harry...🤪 I just really liked what I saw in that 2nd half, almost felt like the shackles had come off a bit and nice to see a left back actually get high up the pitch, Reguilon has so much more about him than Davies.

So happy!!

I have to admit, I haven't been especially bothered about Spurs lately. Mourinho, dull football, no fans, the maelstrom of shit we're all living through right now, everything has kind of taken the life out of it for me.

But I jumped up and yelled like a motherfucker when Coco scored that goal, and found myself pacing back and forth during penalties. It felt pretty good.

I loved the moment in first-half stoppage time when Kovacic went down under a challenge. Lamela walked up and pretended to kick the ball to Jorginho, and just happened to hit Kovacic in the face. Then got pulled down 30 seconds later, drawing the first yellow.

Almost as good as the goal in my books.

He is a glorious shithouse of a player... i wonder if the dippers and the chavs felt the same about Suarez and Costa....

He is nowhere near those despicable cunts level but he is just enough to bring a wry smile to me...

Also.... fuck I miss punch ups in professional sport... yeah role models, bans, fines, police charges blah blah blah.... but it showed they gave a shit...

I think this is why Coco will always have a part to play in a Morinho squad. Jose complains that we aren’t “cunts” and are too nice. Well in Coco he has a proper 100% cunt of a man who will put in a shift every time he plays.

Lamela has his critics but he and Dier are the nasty fuckers we actually need to help change the nice guy image we have.

edit - or what the esteemed @Yid said.

I must admit that I missed that incident and he is indeed as described above, I remember the Jack Wilshire wind up at Wembley a couple of years ago.

Unfortunately he also comes across as a bit of a squeaky primadonna. Who else pullls their socks up over their knees to look like a pair of tights before taking a free kick and suffers as many seemingly minor injuries as Lamela? Any credit to him last night, he didn't stop running and being a thorn in the Blue scum's side, as well as takking a penalty after he hit the bar against Norwich in the FA Cup loss.

To be fair, the fat bastard put in a pretty decent shift.

I am optimistic he can become what we all hope.
I was laughing, watching at the end, he was really blowing whilst trying to run side to side to keep Chelsea at bay. He'll get there if he can shift a few pounds.

What seriously makes me wonder is,this just looks like he isnt part of the "group".

If I said he just ran past Werner before he scored it would sound like I was looking to dig him out,I am not, clearly defending, being positionally aware isnt his strong point ATM.It took dembele over a season to settle,so I can give tanguy time,my main worry is desire or his unhappiness, not sure,he doesnt come across as a fighter.
