The time wasting by Sheffield and the incompetent refereeing is about to cause a riot. I have never seen anything so bad from the opposing club and officials

Ugly game and an ugly goal. You watch the ref let them get away with even more time wasting now

What is nice to see is us not leaving it until the last 10 mins to try and win... we've been at it since the second half started almost... defo from 60 mins onwards..

It's one of those days when we couldn't score if the goal was the size of a house. Maybe the 3 subs will sort it?

But I will say this game exposed us a little bit. Weare still gonna struggle against teams that sit and we always have at least one defensive cockup in us. On a positive, Johnson looked good. Happy for Richie.

I like this new rule of adding more time, those 12 minutes was basically their goalkeeper fucking around!

Yeah, Johnson looked very good. I wish we had got at them earlier, the first 30 minutes was a bit too careful for my delicate disposition, but a deserved win, it's been a while since we won 4 on the bounce, Goons next, let's make it 5.

We were under par toady as a team-the sharpness wasn't there. The game had 0-0 all over it but SU messed that up for themselves by scoring :) ...

A good deserved win-Arsenal will be a massive test, only 3 points but a game we mustn't collapse.

Agreed. The Arsenal game is the first proper test this season and the very definition of "seeing where we are".

Agree, it's a massive test. Mental and performance.
Arsenal always start strong and unfortunately we start slow. Start slow for this occasion-we could be out the game by the 20th min mark. SU performance was a post international break match in which the squad had one day together and players looked fatigued. A positive, the football was there, it just wasn't spontaneous and lacked the spark until the last 20 mins when we came alive. I want to see Richie start-reward his great goal.

It's always nice when you pull 3 points out like that. Like Bergwijn at Leicester a couple of seasons back. I also remember we lost the next 3 league games.
We didn't play well so how we follow that up will tell alot. Arsenal, Liverpool and Luton coming up but the overriding difference is the club has its chest out again. The excitement is back cos its been missing since the height of the Poch era..
In Ange I trust...
