Certainly did it the hard way. Next game against Villa is huge.

Why couldn't we play like that in the first half? I thought Emerson had a good game, he was funny, tackling himself 5 times when he passed the ball, but I thought he did well. My tried and trusted technique worked, I was just saying to myself "Johnson and Werner whats the fucking point of them, they're.......oh that was alright eh?".

Only joined the watch around the 53 minute mark so saw all 4 goals.
Aside from Eze driving forward, winning a free kick & scoring it, it was essentially one way traffic. Spurs looked really good which begs the question "when we are capable of playing this way, why not ramp it up even earlier?"

Just watched the game... Palace are shit but they had 3 points until ¾ of the game had been played...

That lad Eze... Didn't think much to his contribution to be honest but we did enough to nullify him and he still scored a decent free kick... Would he add to our side, would he be good enough, is he any better than what we have got...? Didn't answer any of those questions today did he...

We had loads of chances, and failed to stick them away... I can't help but imagine how good it'd be to watch Kane up front in this side...!

Sonny led by example by sticking an absolute shift in, he was superb. Great goal too, pick of the bunch as it wasn't a simple finish and he, as usual made it look easy. Replacing him is gonna be a fucking huge job for Ange because that job is coming up over the next few seasons unfortunately...

I agree with @Dorset, big shorts wasn't utter shit today... Seemed to do what was asked of him without being too much of a cunt.

Chuffed for Timo, he also had a not totally shit game (best for us yet imo). Still looks like he overthinks things and ends up fluffing his lines... Maybe this will give him the chance to relax and start to deliver because he has all the ingredients to be a real handful.

VDV is a long way towards earning that moniker... He was fucking brilliant today. Absolutely rock solid, absolutely dependable and sooooooo important to how we play. He is great on the ball, confident and skillful enough to move it forwards, has a pass or two in him and his pace just gets t us out of jail, or makes sticky situations look like they're a walk in the park... I never thought we'd replace Jan and Toby... He is that good... Cutti... Great and I love that he's a bit of a head case but today was Mickey's day even though he stuck us Infront.

Think I heard that's Ange with a 50%+ win ratio after 28 games... And playing football that doesn't bore the Parklane to fucking sleep...!

I remember someone used to have a sausage machine that would have been able to tell me statistical shit like that...

Massive game against Villa next week and a much different test...

COYS...!

Oh and VAR.... For the Werner penalty call.... WTF...!!! On the first day of the season that's given all day fucking long...!

I saw on MOTD that Forrest were absolutely fucking robbed too...

VAR has done nothing to improve the accuracy of decision making... Get rid of the cunt and be happy with hating one man in black as opposed to a whole team of the twats sat hundreds of miles away in Stockley Park...!

That Forest fuck up was legendary, penalty for rugby tackel not given then the ball given back to the wrong fucking team who scored in the 'Added time until the Dippers WIn' time. Definitely a penalty for Timo as well. VAR are supposed to tell the ref if a clear an obvious error has been made, they do not, they just waste hours looking for offside eyelashes. VAR can fuck off.

I’m old enough to remember when the dippers demanded a replay due to refereeing error that supposedly decided a game. Wonder if they’ll be up for that now?

Oh yes, I'd forgotten about that! I'm sure they'll be protesting and demanding a replay.

United losing (again) is a good result for us. I know our game in hand is going to be against Chelsea but if we did win that, a 9 point gap to United and an 11 point gap to West Ham with only 10 games to go should - hopefully - mean we'd get at least some form of European football next season.

I think the game versus Villa is the real kicker for what we want to achieve... I think Top 4 is doable... But we've got to be on it.

Obviously we want to finish as high as we can, and I think we’ll get 4th, but isn’t there still a pretty good chance 5th place will get CL?

At the moment, 5th place won't be good enough. England are currently 3rd in the coefficient rankings so any extra place will be going to a team from Italy or Germany.

I think there's a chance it can change though so it's not completely out of the question.

Apparently based on current teams left in the competitions (Europa League and Conference count the same as CL) and performance in first leg games, England is odds on faves to get five spots, with ze Germans missing out. But let’s not leave it up to that—I for one think we need to be looking up the table instead of over our shoulders.
