Hugo Lloris has now resumed light training after suffering a dislocated elbow earlier this season. The goalkeeper is expected to return to full first-team training in the next ten days.

Following ongoing assessment by our medical staff over the past week, we can confirm that Harry Kane will undergo surgery to repair a ruptured tendon in his left hamstring.
The striker suffered the injury during our Premier League fixture against Southampton last week and specialists have advised surgery after further review of the injury.
The decision to undergo surgery is not expected to impact the timeframe that the England captain will be sidelined, with the expectation that he will return to training in April.

Time to probably write this season off and start rebuilding for next season. Rebuilding properly though and assessing who is committed to the cause and the shirt and who isn't. We need to be ruthless with the rebuild and equally ruthlessly honest with paying the right players the right price. We can't if were serious about challenging for big things hope to find Dele Alli's and Harry Kane's to save the ship. We need to buy a strong spine and trust the managers judgement. At the moment we look like a rudderless ship with all of our eggs in FA Cup and Champions League shaped baskets.

Will Levy stump up? who knows........we haven't announced a Stadium sponsor yet, or even a shirt sleeve sponsor, which I find a bit odd. Our value at the start of this season having been in the CL final must have been as high as it's likely to be, with a new Stadium as well. Not sure what Levy is playing at.........he's blown a couple of million on the shirt sleeve sponsor alone for 2-3 seasons now....

Surgery on a hamstring? This is really not good. Hope he comes back close to his old self.

It's a tendon in his arse.......I wonder whether we have average medical staff sometimes or is it simply that Harry plays almost every single game with no respite. Either way he gets an injury every season it seems.

Anyone remember what Torres was like after his injury?

Its blasphemous to even think it but..........

See this is why journalists piss me off.Jose was asked about Kane and when he would likely be back.Bearing in mind he had the op a day before,no follow up scans i would imagine, the club already saying not back in full training until april earliest, all Mourinho said was "april;May maybe next season?" and every back page was Kane out for euros??
Its lazy headline writing and speculation, what was Jose meant to say,yup april 9th he will be back??FFS,i dont know about merican sports writing, but in the UK its just a fucking cesspit now requiring a vivid imagination and an ability to swerve the truth.

Did he play in the friendlies last week?

I see Grealish is given a call-up, and rightfully so. Maybe now the Villa fans will stop crying about it.

Ah, yes. Was wondering in my mangled synapses how internationals could be going on already. Must be because I couldn't imagine a match involving Millwall being described as friendly, hehehe.
