Tanguy Ndombele, Ryan Sessegnon, Kyle Walker-Peters and Eric Dier have all returned to training and are being assessed for selection against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Central defender Davinson Sanchez, meanwhile, is being assessed after complaining of irritation in his ankle following his involvement for Colombia this week.

Fellow defender Juan Foyth is concluding the late stages of conditioning following his own ankle injury before returning to training with the squad. He remains unavailable to face Palace.

Will our weakened squad team feature Dele, Moura, Parrott, KWP, Sanchez, Davies, Lo Celso and N’Dombele? Based on Saturday these guys are going to have to work very hard to break into the team.

Ps missed Foyth and Dier

Tottenham keeper Hugo Lloris has had surgery on the left elbow he dislocated in a 3-0 defeat by Brighton in October.
The France international fell awkwardly as he failed to hold a cross and, initially, it was thought he would not need to be operated on.
But Spurs said: "Surgery was advised after further reviews by specialists found the elbow remained unstable.
"Our club captain remains on course to return to training in the early part of next year."

defender Ben Davies came through the mixed zone this evening on crutches and in a protective boot. He told reporters it could be a lengthy injury. |

Anyone know the update on Kane and Sissoko ? Or more to the point, is there ANY chance at least one of them will be fit for the Liverpool game ?

I read somewhere that Kane may be out until March.

As far as I know the results on the grade of the tear arent known yet, fact he walked off makes it hopeful it isnt a bad one?Could really scupper out transfer window if Jose has to spunk the pot on cover for kane`s injury,

Sissoko maybe, Kane No.

Harry isn't a disaster, under Poch when H was injured we just played in a different way with Son as the main striker. We beat Chelsea away and Ajax in the CL semi on both occasions without Kane. We also tore the Chavs a new one at Wembley. So don't worry too much, it's the slow defenders that are more of an issue. I'm not looking forward to Trent vs Jan at left back for example or Mane vs Toby, but lets see.....it's only fucking Liverpool, the worlds favourite football team. wankers.

Few years back v Millwall innthe FA cup his first major injury , he went off at 0-0 , we finished winning 6-0 , then the next 10 games we scored more goals than anyone else .
we,can survive and prosper , but currently no one at the club is playing with confidence ,esp the defence , I think because they don’t rate the goalie ......start at the back , go and buy Ben Foster from watford , a far better player ,for 2/3 years

They weren't exactly brimming with confidence when Lloris was back there this season though.

Yikes!!out for the season then.

Following a clinical assessment and scans, Moussa Sissoko has today (Tuesday) undergone surgery to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee.
The France international sustained the injury in our fixture against Southampton, resulting in him missing our recent FA Cup tie at Middlesbrough.
Our medical staff will monitor Moussa’s recovery before he commences rehabilitation with a view to returning to training in early April.

Because he is a cluster of fucks too...

Drunk cunt.
Maybe. He's always been good for a clanger or two, but he was also in goal when we conceded 26 goals all season a little while ago. To me the GK is a much smaller part of the issue, IMO, than aging defenders and just a lack of cohesion from back to front..

Talk about when it rains it pours, so our two most consistent performers out for a while, i'll be very interested to see how we get on without Sissoko. We've been without Kane for periods before and invariably Sonny's stepped up and done a pretty decent job, but without Sissoko's energy, drive and industry in the middle, that's a big loss, however he's not the greatest passer, so will be interesting to see if someone can come in (hoping Lamela) and give us that passing control in the middle, that we've been really lacking since Dembele left, just trying to find some positives!!

Other than seeing him in preseason, where to be fair he impressed, although preseason games are always tough to properly judge and a few cameos in the league etc, i know very little about him.

Young but at least he gives a shit.We may as well give him, parrott tanganga some time, fuck all else is going to happen this season,it could be our Poch villa moment? He is a fair talent, tough tackler, decent shot needs a chance, better prospect than winks was IMO.

I'm in, sounds like the sort of guy we need in there, how's his passing? Really need someone in there who can turn and beat someone and move the ball forward quickly. Yeah, gotta admit to not being a big Winks fan, he shows flashes of brilliance but so inconsistent and prone to injuries, gets knocked off the ball to easily and has a tendency to get very defensive in his passing, other than that he's alright!!

Like Parrott played in higher age groups,17 playing U23s,the games I watched he is good, but the step up will be a learning curve, but we`ve wasted 7 months of persisting with under performing midfileders, may as well give the possible future a go.Worrying that Jose hasnt tried with any of those 3 yet its not like they could have done worse vs Saints.

So we're down Kane, Sissoko, Ndombele, Lloris, Davies, and likely Eriksen sold, Thank god we have Lamela to carry us through. Ah crap turns out he was injured again while I typed this. :(

Don't worry, surely Levy will see the need to invest sensibly in the squad in January. Wonder if Saha and Ryan Nelsen are available again?

Lest we forget, Vorm... the man signed a contract to fill in as the backup keeper and is then immediately injured... woof
