I know it’s a small sample size, and this is basically a training game. But our best CB might be an even better left back.

Still never understand why these fouls are never penalties

Posty disagrees, Skippy, big shorts. Don't get that.
Me neither. The ideal chance to give Scarlett, Moore and Donley 20+ minutes to show what they can do in a no pressure situation.

I wonder if the three that came on are being given a “farewell” performance though? Plenty of talk of Big Shorts potentially leaving ..

Yeah, could be. I can’t see those three being in the plans for next season. Scarlett and More getting a few minutes plus the 2 hour stoppage time.

I wish just one of the studio hacks covering the PL would have the balls to bring up the charges against City while they’re singing their praises.

Good season boys. 5th place and no crap football. Hopefully el cheapo improves the squad and backs Ange. Won't be holding my breath.

I read a quote somewhere that said something to the tune of "I feel the 10 game undefeated run at the start of the season did a lot of the heavy lifting for the season" and it's probably fair comment.

But then compared to the durge being served up by Conte-ball last season and limping home in 8th position, this season has been a breath of fresh air. For Ange to get us back into Europe at his first attempt is great going and the style of football (at times..) has been brilliant.

I won't have a huge problem if we're not spaffing £70m+ on signings either. If we're shopping cheap then fine, as long as it's the right person. I just hope we back Ange no matter what.

Agreed. On the first bit, I’ve said before we’d feel a lot different if we’d gone the last 10 unbeaten instead of the first. Recency bias and all that.

Let's have some perspective. Man U, Chelsea and Newcastle all underperformed this season so did us a favour in finishing 5th. Chelsea and Newcastle both beat us towards the end of the season.
The 3 clubs mentioned will be a threat to us next season IMO especially with Europa to contend with for us.

You’re right. It’s all shit, we sick and the manager (who doesn’t know what he’s doing) is dying of emphysema. Season rating: -10000000000000000

Think you need to have a rethink. Ange was more like a 6.75.

Put your ratings in the ratings thread.
You've already been told this.
I'm actually a very happy individual.
My rating: 10.0
Don't tell me what to do, you are not worthy. It was suggested I put it in the match day thread actually, get your facts right.
