Missed today's game but caught the 10 mins added time and Madders cheeky corker...!!!

My blower told me we were one down after about 30 mins and I feared the worst and was just going to watch MOTD...

Glad, I caught the last 10/15 and we were totally dominant.

Cheers. Might be a while before things are better unfortunately as I lost my mum to cancer on Tuesday so it's all been a bit shit. I'm figuring it out though.
Very sorry to hear that mate

You can thank me now for Solanke's breakout & resurgence as I took him out of my Fantasy team this week.

Condolences mate.

Hopefully that will have given you at least some reason to smile, even briefly.

Thankyou for the kind words everyone. She's left a little bit for me and my sister and told us we need to enjoy it and not spend it on bills (!) so I'm going to try and get to a home game this season if I can. I used to go to the Lane all the time back in the day but that was probably when you didn't have to sell a kidney for a ticket :)

RIP Your Mum 🌹

Lost mine to cancer just over 5 years ago, still working it out, although each day is better.

So sorry to hear this Clemmy. I'm sure you have everyone's condolences here.
I know it is not easy to hear at this time but time does heal somewhat.
I lost my Dad 23 years ago & I still think of him everyday. The initial sadness eventually turned to smiles as I think of all the good times & influence he had.

As we say in Greek at times like this: ζωή σε σάς (life to you)

I pick him over Maddison every day of the week now.

And I think he is only going to get better in that playmaker role.
Agree. And he can take a bit of rough stuff too, he's strong and can hold it up with his back to goal. Maddison looks nice and pretty and has got natural ability, no doubt, but goes over if someone farts in his direction. Hate that in a player. Old school ? Maybe I'm guilty of it but I love a player who just gets on with it.

Really sorry to hear about your loss @ClemFandango, went through that a couple years ago with my dad. Hopefully the result provided a bit of cheer.

It's not a bad choice to have, especially as it feels like we have a game every other day now.

Still can't understand Richarlison for Son ?!

I thought that at the time but Ange cleared it up afterwards saying that it was always his intention to take Son off after 55 mins as he was returning from injury and didn’t want to risk him which was fair enough

Yeah I heard that myself alright. Fair enough. I did post that shortly after the substitution so I was a bit baffled when we're trying to win a game and take him off but fair play...the game changed and it worked, so well done Ange and I'll get me coat.

Also, we do have an important Europa game this week. Rotation is gonna be key.
