We're a long way from the side we once were... There's not a lot of creativity or apparent methodology in the way we play...

If any team drops and gets goal side were pretty much fucked and out of ideas.

We can and have caught sides on the break... Not so much of late however...

Both sides are poor, one is better coached.

WTAF is Romero doing... Just stayed up front for the last 5 minutes...?

Is this seriously what we've fucking resorted to... This angers the fuck out of me... If this is Ange then he can fuck off... Take the cunt off and put a striker on, don't just go full Sunday fucking league and make us look bigger cunts than you already have you prick...

If it's Romero going rogue then that's even worse...

Ange cupping his ear towards the fans booing him isn't a good look.

I didn't bother with the game and ended up playing Fortnite on my PS5 Pro as I'm clearly going through a midlife crisis 😂

There isn't even a glimmer of the style of play & urgency when we were at our best under Ange.
It's all evaporated.
For the first time, I wouldn't be against a change but it has to be for a suitable candidate.
None of this about face & go all defensive a la Conte & Jose.

No it isn't. There's an unjustified arrogance about Ange that I never took to.
Think he's done to be honest. Don't think he's a good manager. He brought an initial breath of fresh air when he came first. It was refreshing. But he's shown a lack of capability to adapt tactically that's cost us alot of points. He'll bring up the injuries, sure, but even without injuries, we haven't improved, we've gone backwards and watched clubs like Villa, Newcastle and Forest taking on the best head on with lower wage bills yet are clearly better coached where every single player would run though a wall for the gaffer.
Too many snowflakes in the squad for me.
Maddison, Bentancur, Bissouma, Son, Romero and Richarlison can all walk as far as I'm concerned...with all due respect to Sonny who has been an incredible servant for us and will go down as a club legend., but he's done.

And round and round we go again....

Who in all honesty would want it...

No investment, shit players, lied to by the chairman and an apathetic fan base.

Meh. Looking like a team that couldn’t give a fuck.

I’m with @Style And Glory as far as Ange is concerned. I think he lasts the season, hopefully jags that trophy so at least leaves some sort of legacy, but if there is a good candidate who we can replace him with in the summer then it’s probably time he moved on.

That was an almost full strength team we put out (Deki the only notable absence) and we still didn’t look like it.

We weren’t exactly bad but we are very vanilla and easy to play against.

Tel an unused substitute in 3 our of the last 4 games apparently. He'll be counting the days until his loan is over at this rate.

In fairness, I am not sure he is that good.

But then neither are a heap of guys who are getting minutes.

Just got in from the game , what is it with the roads - they close loads of them at night and you struggle to get home at a decent time . Rant over on that . The game :- well I think the first half we played poorly but so did they so it sort of balanced out . Lots of loose passes and we did our usual trying to play out from the back and losing the odd ball in the process . But we went in at half time levels 0-0 . Second half well it was full of drama Chavs scored and they celebrated like they'd won the league . They scored again and some of our supporters stormed out but after a long deliberation it was ruled offside much to our delight . Then we scored but that was ruled out after the ref went to the side of the pitch and looked on the monitor . We had a few penalty shouts and we felt a bit hard done by because they were open to interpretation . We were in fine voice throughout and did ourselves proud on that front . I'm just glad we gave them a tough time of it and they had to battle . I was dreading losing with a whimper , but instead there was nearly a punch up . I think the ref got a lot of things wrong , but that's without the benefit of replays . We didn't stink the place out , but we weren't good enough either . Onto Sunday against the saints......Yid Army

Serious question. Southampton are rubbish, so this is obviously a long shot, but if god forbid we were to lose at home to them, would the club sack the manager ahead of the Frankfurt tie?

It’s an interesting question because Ange has gone so far beyond the point where Levy would normally sack someone that it’s literally a dot on the horizon.

Statistically he’s our worst ever manager - even worse than Christian Gross. 16 defeats in a single season is unheard of as well and if you consider how toxic the atmosphere is with the fans on top of everything, I really can’t understand why Levy has stuck with him so long.

That said, if we do roll over on Sunday then maybe the notion of the stereotypical “New Manager Bounce” for such a pivotal game against Frankfurt might finally be the straw that breaks the back maybe.
