This is embarrassing. Nobody seems to know their job defensively.

Oh ffs! Great finish, of course they save their best for us but my God we are so shit at the back, it's actually embarrassing.

Both teams really poor, they have taken their chances and we have not

So far it really does feel like that kind of performance. Got to dig deep here
I have no confidence that this side has that in them...

If they couldn't show the heart against Arsenal and now for 35 mins against this sack if shit club, then I don't see it being there...!

Starting to agree with Crypty about Madison simply slowing us down... It's incessant, every time he wants 3 or 4 extra 'me' touches...

We’re getting beat repeatedly by straight balls over the top. Should be meat and drink for Dragusin but he doesn’t seem to know whether to stick or twist in this back three that’s not really a back three.

He’s a bit like the team as a whole, when he’s on, he’s brilliant. But doesn’t offer much when hes off.

I know I’m a bad fan but I just didn’t bother today. Couldn’t muster a single bit of enthusiasm or interest for the game so I’m currently on my way home from the cinema.

It takes me back to that article from the Daily Record when Ange was in charge of Celtic and facing a similar injury crisis.

Asked if he would temper the training and playing style to protect his players from injury, he added: “No, it’s not possible. It’s a by-product of the team we want to be and it’s part of the process.

Very few managers will leave their clubs in the lurch mid-season unless it’s for silly money and Iraola would definitely be in that category. And nobody would suddenly make everyone fit again either so I don’t know.

If we can’t get back in to this I suspect he’ll be gone within 48 hours.

Deciding to play a back 3 is Ange’s biggest mistake of the season so far

Bringing Romero and VdV back, clearly way too early, was way bigger than this.
Fair, although he may have been acting on advice of the medical staff there. This one is absolutely on him. For me it’s not so
much that he went with the back three as that it was some sort of weird hybrid where Gray was allowed to come into midfield. Everyone looked confused and they exploited it well.

I’d hook Maddison. Get Moore on the pitch, he’ll at least bring something positive.

The thing about sacking Ange is that you just know if we do he’ll go on to win the league with fucking Wolves or somebody playing the most amazing football anyone’s ever seen.

Also sacking Ange will have zero impact on the current state of the club.

11 players will not miraculously recover from injury and 5 players will not suddenly transfer in, in January.

Or any club where he is backed by the owner

Look lads I agree... And while I don't want to see Ange fail because it means yet again this fucking club has let us all down...

What were seeing today is a stackable performance and Ange will have to 100% take it on the chin... If it happens.

He, the team, the club have not been good enough any-fucking-where near good enough... regardless of injuries.

Ange has done fuck all to change the trajectory of our club, performances, recruitment or any fucking thing else... And while ultimately the blame lies at Levy's feet it's got wayyyy worse under Anges tenure and he will be the latest in the long line of scapegoats to field the flack from failure instead of Levy... I blame Ange for this performance and the performances where his belligerence has cost us...

Ultimately we all know where the blame is and it's on the Chairman/Owners for going cheap again...
